Chief F1 writer in BahrainKimi Raikkonen is a couple of tenths quicker than Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. But during Daniel Ricciardo's flying lap he was quicker than Raikkonen.
I noticed new Red Bull parts arriving in boxes. I assume they might be on the car. If they are upgrades it's no surprise if they've made the difference.

Radio 5 live Formula 1 commentatorSebastian Vettel had a problem. The neutral light came on at the top of his car. He ground to a halt before he got to the pits.
That's two mechanical maladies for Ferrari in the first two practice sessions (Kimi Raikkonen ground to a halt in FP1).

"Complete shutdown. Complete shutdown." says the four time World Champion.
He appears to have had a total electrical failure and is now back in the pit lane. We will see if he can re-join the session...

Well that was strange...
Sebastian Vettel on team radio - "Question: Can I turn down the brightness of the shift lights on the steering wheel"
Ferrari response: "Negative"
And he pulls off the track and that appears to be the end of his session...!
