Sebastian Vettel heads out first, followed by Lewis Hamilton.
Lewis Hamilton has been pretty flawless so far this weekend, will he put it all together in these next 12 minutes and secure pole position number 65 of his career?

What will see now are the engine modes amped up by the top teams. I think that will leave Red Bull behind. It will be too much to see them properly troubling the top two.

I wonder where we are with the teams? Mercedes have shown their pace. But where is Vettel? What have Ferrari left in the tank to ideally put their car on pole?
Yep, you guessed it. It was Romain Grosjean moaning.
Pop quiz, which driver just said this:
"Unbelievable. Nothing, absolutely nothing. That set of tyres we put into the bin."
1) Hamilton 2) Bottas 3) Raikkonen 4) Vettel 5) Verstappen 6) Ricciardo 7) Massa 8) Perez 9) Ocon 10) Hulkenberg

It is not a puncture for Kyvat, he has absolutely mullered that rear right rim. He gave a 90 degree slap to the wall.
Daniil Kvyat is out and limping back to the pits. He absolutely slapped his right rear into the wall. Big damage to the rim and a punctured tyre as a result.
11) Kvyat 12) Alonso 13) Sainz 14) Grosjean 15) Palmer
Lewis Hamilton finishes quickest in the second part of qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.
Jolyon Palmer improves but it's not good enough. He remains dead last.
The wheels are off Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari. He isn't going back out in Q2 but Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen are all back on track.

Three minutes to go in Q2 and the drivers in danger of elimination are:
11) Kvyat 12) Sainz 13) Alonso 14) Grosjean 15) Palmer
Good to see a McLaren hasn't broken down yet, but it's not a trouble free session for Fernando Alonso.
"I have less power than Q1," he says. Not good news. He's 13th and needs an improvement to get into the top 10 shootout.
Sebastian Vettel gets all out of shape at the exit of Turn 2 and that scuppers his lap. He's two tenths down on Lewis Hamilton but is comfortably into Q3, so pits.
Nevertheless, any mistakes by Vettel will please Hamilton. There'll be no room for error in Q3.
Lewis Hamilton pits as Kimi Raikkonen goes second quickest, just eight thousandths of a second slower than the Mercedes.
