Fascinated to see how Paul di Resta gets on. Quality driver, but a big ask having only driven 2017 car in a simulator.
Vettel on pole, Raikkonen 2nd, Bottas 3rd, Hamilton 4th

Paul di Resta's last race in Formula 1 was the 2013 Brazilian Grand Prix.
He finished 11th in that race after qualifying 12th.

As exciting as it is to see Paul di Resta back behind the wheel of an F1 car, here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Felipe Massa.
Wow.
A genuinely incredible story. Paul di Resta, who hasn't driven an F1 car for three years, will race in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
All eyes are going to be on the Scot for qualifying, which gets under way at 13:00 BST and this is what Di Resta said to Sky Sports F1 ahead of final practice, before it was confirmed that he would step in.
"You're very anxious," he said. "Nervous but very excited.
"You go straight in the deep end. It's a tricky little track. You have to be very committed and confident. You just have to get in the car and do the job possible. There's no pressure out there."
It's official, Paul di Resta will replace Felipe Massa for the rest of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.

Isn't it fascinating. We could have Ricciardo with a gearbox penalty, Hamilton doesn't look on the pace at the minute and Paul di Resta, if he gets this drive it will be incredible. He hasn't been in a car for three years.
Your F1 super-sub
While we wait for official confirmation from Williams regarding Felipe Massa and Paul di Resta, we want to know who your F1 super-sub would be?
If you could have anyone, anyone at all, step in for a driver at the last minute, who would you entrust such a responsibility with?

Still no official confirmation, but one of F1's most unlikely returns looks to be increasingly likely to happen.
The Scot has not raced in F1 since 2013 and has not driven the 2017 car before.
He was ironing his shirt a couple of hours ago in preparation for working on Sky Sport's F1 coverage.

If Di Resta comes in he will seize this opportunity. This is what reserve drivers live for. If he gets this opportunity he will grab it with both hands and everyone will be watching how he does against rookie Lance Stroll.

For Mercedes this could become a damage limitation weekend of sorts. They know they will have to do something pretty radical to take the fight to Ferrari, who are the team to beat based on what we have seen.
1) Vettel 1:17.017
2) Raikkonen +0.475
3) Bottas +0.897

Sebastian Vettel finishes quickest in final practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

I'm guessing Nico Hulkenberg doesn't like being that close to his team-mate as he pulls a mighty lap out of the bag to leap up to sixth. half a second clear of Jolyon Palmer. Hulkenberg is once again the best of the rest with a couple of minutes left of final practice.
Back to on track action and Jolyon Palmer needed a good morning and, so far, he is having just that. He's currently 10th quickest, a tenth of a second down on his Renault team-mate Nico Hulkenberg.
Renault-powered cars occupy P5-10th as things stand. Going well on this circuit.
Kayleigh: Sad that Massa is a poorly sausage. But PDR may be driving for Williams is so exciting for me!
