Lap 30/70
Vettel's lead has dropped significantly. Is that because he was slowing as he lapped Stoffel Vandoorne, or are his tyres starting to wear a little?

Lap 29/70
Dave Catt: Stroll totally in the wrong against Brendon Hartley, time to bring in Kubica!
Sho: Mercedes are looking so slow. Lewis is barely laying a glove on the Red Bulls on a track which is suppose to favour them apparently.
Kayleigh: Well... after a pretty interesting start, this has settled in to a ‘meh’ race.
We had a huge crash on the opening lap between Lance Stroll and Brendon Hartley and here you can listen to 5 live's commentary again of the incident.

Max Verstappen, in fourth, is well adrift of Kimi Raikkonen, and finally puts his foot down and starts to try to make up some road. Fernando Alonso, meanwhile, has finally managed to get past Charles Leclerc. Alonso is 11th.

Lewis Hamilton has work to do, he has to attack Daniel Ricciardo, but Ricciardo is one of the most aggressive drivers out there.
Lap 24/70
Vettel totally in command here - although none of the current top three (Bottas and Raikkonen) have yet pitted.
Mercedes: "You are still half a second quicker than the cars that have changed tyres."

We are only 20 laps, not even a third gone so there is a long, long way to go. Sebastian Vettel is not under pressure.
Lap 21/70
Left groundhog: "Told you it would be Vettel - he's so in control."
Middle groundhog: "Yeah, beginning to think the Red Bulls have got more chance than Hamilton now."
Right groundhog: "Where's Nigel Mansell? I like him."
Konstantin Kirilov: Leclerc now more than 1.5s ahead of Alonso, great start to the #CanadianGP, external for one of the best-performing drivers of the season so far. I'd bet he switches teams for 2019 if this continues.
Simone Rossi: Can you PLEASE tell Williams for the next race to promote Robert Kubica. I can't take anymore! PLEASE!
Jeremiah Kariuki: Hamilton tried an undercut. It has failed! Lost to Ricciardo. This weekend is not going well at all for him.
Ferrari: "We are on Plan B."

Max Verstappen is just ahead of Lewis Hamilton as they come into the pits. The supersofts are on for Max, a nice clean pitstop for him.
Lap 19/70
Daniel Ricciardo comes into pit - and for a tyre switch - and comes out ahead of Hamilton, who remains sixth.
Lap 17/70
Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton both into the pits. Hypersoft tyres off and supersofts on. Verstappen comes out in fifth, Hamilton sixth.
"Looks like Lewis is struggling a bit."
Red Bull: "If he is vulnerable let's go and get him."
Lap 16/70
Top four as as you were at lights out - Vettel maintaining a lead of more than four seconds over Valtteri Bottas. Max Verstappen more than five seconds back on Bottas, while Lewis Hamilton is almost 12 seconds off the lead.
Lap 15/70
Renault's Nico Hulkenberg is into the pits to get the hypersoft tyres off. A lot of drivers pitting for that reason at present. Would seem those tyres are not working out quite as hoped.
