    What's happening at Ferrari? #bbcf1

Jonathan Deighton: It has been abundantly clear for some time now that Ferrari employ the worst strategists in #F1, external. They are terrible, all the money but no idea. They need to poach from Redbull or Mercedes!

Dr Toerag: I was wondering what new way Ferrari would mess up this weekend. But they've surpassed my wildest imagination! Poor Charles

Inge: This is bewildering. Why keep one of your drivers from qualifying in a decent position? The constructors championship is still on, isn't it?

  3. 'Embarrassing'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

    Jolyon Palmer
Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 live

It is embarrassing for Ferrari. Absolutely embarrassing. Leclerc might as well not turn up tomorrow. He has not come to Monaco to finish ninth in a Ferrari. He is here to win.

This is another mistake by Ferrari that has completely ruined their weekend.

  5. 'I need some explanations'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 25 May 2019

Charles Leclerc, who starts 16th tomorrow, has been speaking to reporters about his early exit from qualifying.

"I don't have any explanation," he says. "Very difficult one to take. We had plenty of time to go out again. I need some explanations.

"Hopefully there will be rain tomorrow and that will be a lottery. If it is dry it will be boring. I will have to take a lot of risks tomorrow because this is a track that is basically impossible to overtake on.

"It is disappointing. It has been a difficult day and hopefully tomorrow will be better."

Leclerc out in Q1 reaction #bbcf1

DJ Home: Ferrari are a joke at this point. Not sending out Leclerc was pure arrogance and it's cost them. Are they trying to hand Mercedes the championship?!

DebbieE: Somebody offer Leclerc a way out and show him some respect. Ferrari now had strike 1,2 and 3

Peter: It seems to me that anyone in any kind of position of authority in the Ferrari pit are terrified of making any kind of a decision - yes, no, yes, maybe.... you can just imagine it.
