    Vettel has got ahead of Hamilton. He did that late on. The world champion had only finished first or second before today, but a damaged front wing scuppered his strategy and saw him finish fifth.

    The Mercedes run ends. Max Verstappen crosses the line and takes the chequered flag. Charles Leclerc is denied his first ever race win, overtaken three laps from the end.

    "Wow. We are definitely catching them. Great job boys all weekend!" a jubilant Verstappen says over the team radio.
