"So, you probably need to push on now. Situation has now changed compared to this morning due to the 10-second penalty."
By the way, Charles Leclerc has not even had a podium finish this year, coming fourth at Imola, Barcelona and Baku.
His last podium finish was in this very race last year when he came third.
Was Hamilton's 10-second penalty deserved? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.
Hamilton, 10-second penalty. Deserved or not? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

Iain Colquhoun: Soft penalty for Hamilton.
Tristan Cooper: 10 seconds totally inadequate.
R: That was not Hamilton's fault. Verstappen turned in on Lewis. Racing incident. Shocking decision by the stewards.
Nick Hughes: Reasonably fair penalty that could have been more for Hamilton. Norris and Perez got 5 seconds for something much less and at a much lower speed.

Charles Leclerc's lead over Lewis Hamilton is one and a half seconds at the moment.
I guess we'll see just how aggressive Hamilton is going to in these early stages.
Charles Leclerc has only ever won two F1 races - back-to-back ones at Spa and Monza in 2019. He's got a great chance of getting win number three, but there's a long, long way to go.

When the crowd heard the announcement about Hamilton's 10-second time penalty... they booed!
And you could hear it ringing out around Silverstone.
Also, no damage to Hamilton's car in that incident with Verstappen.
That 10-second penalty for Lewis Hamilton will be added to his pit stop, so he will have to just sit and wait and wait and wait. That comes later on.
The stewards have delivered their verdict on that Hamilton-Verstappen incident and Hamilton gets hit with a 10-second penalty.
If he's going to win an eighth British Grand Prix, he's going to have to do something very, very special from here.

Not so much drama this time but once again, Valtteri Bottas losing a place off the line.
Sebastian Vettel spins at Luffield.
Lando Norris jumps Valtteri Bottas off the restart and is up to third, Leclerc holds the lead over Hamilton.

Red Bull Christian Horner has given an update on Max Verstappen's condition after his first-lap crash: "He's had a 51G accident today - thank god he walked away, that's the biggest result we'll have today.
"Just relieved to see him. He's in the medical centre but he walked in there on his own. He's foing a 30 minute cautionary check but hopefully, so far so good.
"For me the incident is very clear: Lewis has stuck a wheel up the inside on one of the fastest corners on this world championship.
"He's driven this circuit for years - you know you don't do that here. And the result, thank god, is that we haven't had a driver who has been seriously injured, or worse, today."

Geoff Tunbridge: Regardless of who could have done differently, Red Bull need to stop moaning about an overtake attempt on a corner. Every corner is an overtaking point otherwise let’s drive only on ovals
Adam Sewell: Surely if you're on the inside of the corner & worried about the other guy turning in on you, then your natural reaction is to move away from them & tight towards the apex to avoid the crash? Lewis clearly chose not to and allowed himself to turn wider to force Max's hand
We've got a standing start, for the second time. Hamilton's car has been patched up and will be looking to jump Charles Leclerc.
