Feels like a practice session now, watching the clock tick away instead of the laps counter.
The Red Bull of Sergio Perez is still the leader of this pack with a 2.071 second gap to second place Carlos Sainz.
Norris: "Surely I can just push now and try to make a mistake from those ahead? What is the point of just sitting here?"
McLaren: "We are happy to push, we think there might be 23 laps remaining. The key thing is to that if rain came towards the end that we have some rubber left to deal with it."
Lando Norris has been on the radio to his McLaren crew. The 22-year-old wants the full run down of strategy so he can have a chance of ending George Russell's run of finishing in the top five this season.

I have just spoken to the team and Alpine say no issue for Fernando Alonso, so maybe he is just managing his pace.
Tick, tick goes the timer. Only 27 minutes left for someone to take a risk and receive a reward.
The Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton hasn't gained enough traction yet to catch Fernando Alonso in the Alpine and move up into seventh spot.
Sainz: "Any sign of graining on Checo [Sergio Perez]?"
Ferrari: "Not yet."
Can Carlos Sainz see an opening?
The Spaniard asks his engineer is there any graining on Sergio Perez's tyres? No comes the reply.

Fernando Alonso must have a problem - he is four seconds a lap slower than the cars ahead. This can't just be about nursing his tyres. Has he got a problem?
After his frustration at trying to pass Esteban Ocon, Lewis Hamilton now has to contend with his old McLaren mucker Fernando Alonso.
Time is ticker towards the 30-minute mark.

Scrap the 77 laps - we are now into the timed zone of the race now. 32 minutes on the clock remain.
Lap 37/77
Not much to separate the front four as all the front runners are hitting the 1:19s mark.
Although, Carlos Sainz clocks a 1:18.150 from second place.
Hamilton: "Why is Alonso driving so slowly?"
Mercedes: "Copy, he has been told to manage his pace as much as possible just to keep you behind."

Lap 35/77
Lewis Hamilton asked earlier on if the incident with Esteban Ocon was going to be looked at by the stewards.
Well, it was. And they Ocon deserved a five-second time penalty for causing a collision.
"OK, 29 laps expected here, maximum."
Lap 34/77
Sergio Perez, on the mediums, holds a 1.027 second advantage over Carlos Sainz, on the hards. A 1:20.677 is the latest time clocked for the Mexican driver.
