There are no rogue rear wings flying around the track, so lap 68 is a clear one.

Lap 69 is here and the fastest lap is still on Lewis Hamilton's name, potentially denying Max Verstappen a Grand Slam weekend.

I've got some news on the Lando Norris penalty, it's for slowing under the safety car to avoid a delay during a double stack for his pitstop. So basically he's backed off coming into the pits and held up the other drivers so that he didn't have to get held up behind his teammate Oscar Piastri when they pitted under the safety car.

It is Max Verstappen who looks set to take his 41st career win, but it's not over yet.

Lando Norris has spotted something dodgy on Esteban Ocon's car. "The rear wing is loose on the Alpine," says the McLaren driver. He's understandably worried it could cause a problem if it falls off.

The Williams of Alex Albon is holding firm in seventh place but Esteban Ocon, on fresher hard tyres, is putting the Thai-British driver under pressure.

Race leader Max Verstappen is cruising out in front but a little wobble in the Red Bull causes the Dutchman a chuckle over the team radio. "I almost knocked myself out there!" says Verstappen.

Lando Norris has that five-second time penalty hanging over his head but he sees a chance to pass Valtteri Bottas! The McLaren makes a move on the Alfa Romeo at Turn 10 and the pair battle further at the exit but Norris survives. P9 for the Briton now.

It's going to be a heavyweight podium if it ends in any kind of form with a Verstappen, Alonso, Hamilton line-up. Seven world championships for Hamilton, two for Alonso and two for Verstappen.

Fernando Alonso is told "Hamilton is 1.9secs behind" but the Spaniard doesn't sounds worried. "Copy. Leave it with me," replies Alonso.

Hamilton is closing in on Alonso here for second, this fight is not over yet, we are just over 10 laps left until the end of the this race and I'm saying this is game on for the podium positions.

Matthew Murnaghan: Has Formula 1 gotten more and more boring over the past few years? Verstappen is so far ahead, you may as well accept that Verstappen and Red Bull has won the season.

Scott Ruthven: Still amazed there was no action for those unsafe releases...

Andrew Priestley: Lewis is unleashing the new-found performance of his Mercedes package.

George Russell is out of the car and shaking his head. An early bath for the Mercedes driver, who started fourth but had his race ruined with that big shunt.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen is eight seconds up the road and heading towards another race victory in 2023.

It sounds like he (George Russell) had some damage to the brake ducts or at least one brake duct on the right-hand side of that car where he made contact to the outside of Turn Six, an unfortunate day there for the British driver.

It's in Norris' best interest to try and extend the gap from the cars behind because he does have that five-second penalty but it's difficult for him because he's stuck in that DRS train at the moment, he's got four cars directly in front of him also putting out the worst of the dirty air as he sits behind them. I'm still very curious as to why he got that unsportsmanlike penalty, I don't think I've ever seen that.
