News from the stewards, the unsafe releases that were being investigated, Hamilton and Alonso no further action, Lando Norris no further action, so no penalties coming their way, they have gotten away with it.

Encouraging news for Charles Leclerc. Carlos Sainz won't be offering him outside for a fight for fourth place. A clean lap is all the Scuderia want out of the Monegasque driver.

Paul: A sudden downpoor would make this just a little bit interesting right about now..

Hu: Verstappens car could just die, that would be great.

Jack: If they have left it this long, then hamilton won't get a penalty or they will change the result hours after the race finishes

Fernando Alonso is into the runners-up spot but Max Verstappen is three seconds up the road and not looking like he'll make a rare mistake in the Red Bull.

Carlos Sainz is in fifth tells his engineer he's got "a bit of pace" as he tries to hunt down his team-mate Charles Leclerc for fourth.

The Aston Martin and Mercedes reach the final chicane and Fernando Alonso can spot a gap. The Spaniard pulls out to the side and breezes by the Silver Arrow. Second place for Alonso is now safe.

Fernando Alonso clocks the fastest lap of the race, which is encouraging for the two-time world champion, as he has another multiple title winner in his sights, Lewis Hamilton.

Kevin Magnussen now finds Valtteri Bottas on his tail and the Dane finds himself down in ninth place. It gets even worse for the Haas man as Lando Norris is on the prowl and is able to pick him off with ease.

Of all the unsafe releases that we saw, I don't think Lewis' release was the worst of those, I will be surprised if he gets a penalty for that.

Magnussen, Bottas, Ocon, running in seventh, eighth and ninth places, are all under investigation for potentially overtaking while the safety car was out so they could be in trouble.

The stewards are busy. Hamilton and Alonso and Norris and Albon are all being investigated for their pit lane shenanigans under the safety car.

Phew. Safe restart for every driver. Max Verstappen leads the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso. The Dutchman is 1.281 seconds of seven-time world champion Hamilton.

Lewis on the previous radio just wondering that the damage wasn't coming off his car because maybe he saw black Mercedes bodywork scattered across the track. I'm still in shock on how George has continued this race, surely there is some kind of bent parts on that car now, we will see where his lap times fall.
