Brilliant stuff for Pierre Gasly as he is back on the podium for the first time since 2021.
Fernando Alonso takes second place as Carlos Sainz fends off Lewis Hamilton to hold onto fifth.
The Dutch fans, as you'd expect, are going wild as Max Verstappen makes his way around the track.

Max Verstappen wins the Dutch Grand Prix for a record-equalling ninth win in a row!
Lewis Hamilton is plugging away to try and get past Carlos Sainz. There looks to be a bit of contact as Hamilton lunges at Turn 1 but Sainz holds!
We're into the final lap.

Looking at the timing sheets, Verstappen is fastest only just from Pierre Gasly, so Gasly is really trying to close this gap to Sergio Perez, he's going to be promoted to the podium anyway.
Sergio Perez is half a second behind Fernando Alonso, who is told not to defend too hard because of Perez's penalty.

I wonder if he's [George Russell] had a little bit of contact with someone along the way, it sounded ok but he's in the pits now.
Carlos Sainz versus Lewis Hamilton is the battle to watch. Sainz is fifth but Hamilton is right up behind him.
Max Verstappen now leads by 1.5s.
"I'm out."
Max Verstappen is a second clear now of Fernando Alonso so that's looking unlikely to develop into the battle we hoped for.
George Russell is out as he limps back to the pits.
It looks like he got a puncture.
And Sergio Perez gets a penalty as George Russell has gone off somewhere! He's tumbling down the order.
Sergio Perez has been noted for potentially speeding in the pit lane.
He is third.

It's bumpy going down into Turn One so I expect to see a few lock ups or maybe because it's towards the end of the race that some of the drivers might take it a little bit steady.

There's a lot of standing water out there. It's gonna be difficult for anyone but Max Verstappen to see anything out there.
Now then, Fernando Alonso is pushing from second as we get back up to full speed. Just seven tenths between him and Max Verstappen...
In goes the safety car and it is a dramatic dash to the end!
