    Lee Westwood, who shot a 70 to move to two under, speaking on BBC Two: "I played really solidly. I said yesterday I wanted to play the par-fives better and I played them in four under. I thought I was unlucky on the greens.

    "The person who wants to see Lee Westwood win a major the most is Lee Westwood. I'll keep putting myself in contention and I'll be there or thereabouts.

    "I'll try to play the front nine properly and put myself in with a chance on the back nine."

    Lovely stuff from Bubba. No flip-flopping compromise from him, he sends his ball right at the flag and is rewarded for his bravery. He will have a very presentable putt for birdie next and it was on this hole that he got hot yesterday.

    Obviously the highlight is Lee Westwood on two under for his 17 holes. A 69 today for Justin Rose puts him one under while a 70 for Ian Poulter means he is level but it could have been so much better. Then looking at Jamie Donaldson, he's two over while Darren Clarke is five over for the tournament. Augusta is biting Scotland's Stephen Gallacher today, he's eight over today and seven over in all.
