Good afternoon, Rickie Fowler. Thought your early moves had gone unnoticed, eh? Birdies on the second and third for the 26-year-old and he's one under for the tournament. Sangmoon Bae into the red, too. Two birdies - on the second and seventh - take him to one under overall. Not much moving going on so far on moving day, to be honest.

  2. Where the Green Jackets grow on treespublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Being as we're chatting about Texas, how about this for a fact: Jordan Spieth could win a 13th Masters for Texas - the most of any US state. (For those of you interested, Ben Crenshaw was the last Texan to win the Green Jacket back in 1995). And that's all I have to say about Texas.

Unsurprisingly, the Augusta Chronicle, external leads on Texas natives Ben Crenshaw and Jordan Spieth.

Two-time champion Crenshaw bowed out at Augusta after 44 consecutive years of driving up Magnolia Lane to test himself on one of the great courses. On Crenshaw, David Westin writes: "He shot 91-85 but the fans did not care. They just wanted to see him one more time."

  5. Mixed bag for Englandpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Ian Poulter:, external This game is certainly won and lost on the putting green. Obviously I need to work harder. No excuses just plain old grit & determination.

Poulter is level for the tournament after a birdie on the fourth.

Luke Donald:, external Not my week, I may have to have a glass to commiserate #OnToNextWeek

Donald missed the cut at +3, the former world number one some way off his past form.

With Saturday commonly referred to as 'moving day', we'd like to know who you think will make a surge up the leaderboard to make Jordan Spieth sweat it out in the Augusta cauldron...

What about Dustin Johnson on seven under? The American notched up three eagles on the par-fives yesterday to put him seven strokes behind Jordan Spieth. Another eagle today and Johnson will equal the tournament record of four. Or how about English duo Paul Casey and Justin Rose (both seven under)?

You can get involved using #bbcgolf on Twitter or 81111 via text - or post your views on BBC Sport's Facebook, external page.

I know what you're thinking: less gossiping and more updated scores. The only player to catch the eye early on is Morgan Hoffmann who came away from the third hole celebrating an eagle. That beauty takes the American to -2 for the day (-1 overall).

Lee Westwood? The Englishman is propping up the scoreboard on three over, I'm afraid. A bogey on the first followed by five straight pars through six for Westwood, while Ian Poulter is slightly better - pars on the opening three holes to remain +1 for the tournament.

An interesting coming together at 18:15 BST when Sergio Garcia and Tiger Woods tee off together. The pair's frosty relationship is said to be the inspiration for the second instalment of Disney's animated hit Frozen. Tiger v Sergio , externalkicked off years ago, of course, but it was in 2013 that Garcia made his offensive 'fried chicken' remark, for which he later issued a mea culpa.

The Spaniard tweeted , externalon Friday: It was gonna happen at some point sooner or later! Paired with @TigerWoods tomorrow but don't you worry guys, I'm sure we'll both be fine!

Four-time Masters champion Woods is -2, the same score as Garcia who is looking to land his first major after several near misses over the years.

  10. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

    Tom Fordyce
    Chief sports writer at Augusta

"Coolest day of the Masters so far, a welcome relief for the players after the sticky heat of the first few days. Much speculation over whether the greens will have been dried out overnight to speed them up - it's a difficult decision for Augusta National, as quicker greens will in theory make it harder for the pursuers to make the birdies they need to close in on runaway leader Jordan Spieth, yet slower ones could see him mangle the course record."

  11. Stricker gets third round under waypublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

While we've been chatting about all things Jordan Spieth, there are players already testing out Augusta's capricious greens. Unfortunately for them, these are the players who have been turned into also-rans because of a certain 21-year-old's wizardry.

Steve Stricker got the day started and the veteran American is one under for the day (+1 overall). A mixed bag for Stricker, who is playing on his own, through the first five - two birdies, two pars and a bogey.

  12. Spieth calm in major pursuitpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

What will be the key to victory in Augusta? Patience, according to Jordan Spieth, who then broke into a rendition of one of Take That's, external greatest hits about self control. (He didn't but it would have been good to see.)

"I'm not going to get ahead of myself," he said after his second round. "I'm going to try and stay in the moment and be patient these last two days and understand that it's going to feel like a whole other tournament.

"I need to not focus on anybody else, no scoreboard watching, set a goal and understand that the course is going to be harder."

Jordan Spieth, second on his Masters debut last year, sank six birdies in a blemish-free 18 holes on Friday for a cumulative record total of 130 shots. ONE-HUNDRED-AND-THIRTY! If he's into pie charts and, again, who isn't, the Dallas native will be whooping and hollering once he glimpses the one we've put together.

  16. The history makerpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Hello! Welcome to live text coverage of the third day of the Masters. The narrative has been all about one man over the last two days, a man whose feats have overshadowed Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, turning their performances into mere footnotes.

Golf has not experienced anything like the two rounds Jordan Spieth produced on Thursday and Friday, which has left many predicting a victory procession this weekend for the 21-year-old. But sport is rarely straightforward. There's always a twist and a turn somewhere, isn't there?

  17. Spieth gunning down his rivalspublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

"I don't know what course Jordan is playing but it's not the same one I'm playing."

The words of Darren Clarke, Europe's Ryder Cup captain, have probably been echoed in Augusta's clubhouse by many a golfer these last few days. Spieth is 14-under at the halfway mark, his 130-shot total a record score after 36 holes and another sensational day at the office means the Texan enjoys a five-shot lead over his nearest challenger, Charley Hoffman.

Will the 21-year-old continue to live up to his nickname Wyatt Earp, the sharp-shooting lawman who mercilessly gunned down his rivals in the Wild Wild West, or will the barrel run out of bullets? We will find out as the afternoon unfolds.

Every so often a special talent will emerge, capturing the imagination with their zip and zing. He or she will make the difficult look easy, effortlessly finding a solution when all around are scratching their heads. Achieving the extraordinary becomes effortless, creating history child's play. In 155 years of the majors, no golfer has played fewer shots in the first two rounds than Jordan Spieth, but the question is: does the American dare to dream?
