Justin Rose has never finished higher than fifth at the Masters but fancies his chances of doing better this time, possibly even challenging for victory.

Jordan Spieth leads by seven strokes, but Rose said on Saturday: "There's always that 65 out there with an opportunity to make up some ground for the chasing pack. It's a Major Championship and it's never easy playing with the lead."

Jenni in Newtownards: Jordan Spieth needs to collapse if we are to see a contest for the Green Jacket on Sunday evening. He needs to start making bogeys, and a lot of them, but it's hard to see him making one, never mind the 5 or 6 the chasing pack require! If Spieth were to collapse and not win from this position at the halfway point, then we will be talking about this alongside Greg Norman's famous collapse in 1996. The fat lady is getting ready to sing!

Nick Lloyd, Aberdeen: So excited for tonight! Nothing better than a quiet night watching the Masters with a glass of wine! Will be intriguing to see if Spieth has the mentality to pull off another under par round.

With all the moving currently going on around Augusta, whoops and hollers accompanying every great shot, it's hard to imagine the ice-cool Spieth isn't just a tad nervous as he prepares to launch his round at 19:55.

  8. Postpublished at 19:23 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Aussie duo Day and Scott birdie the second, are four under. Mahan gives back a shot at 12 after an errant tee shot, drops back to -2. Woods pars five to stay -5, McIlroy has followed eagle at two with five straight pars.

  9. Bubba's shot at historypublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

    Bubba WatsonImage source, Getty Images

Watson would land a third win in seven starts, better than the eight needed by Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the three most decorated players at Augusta with 14 wins between them.

Never one for the conventional, Watson has started with four birdies in his first seven holes but is only level par for the day after a disastrous triple bogey on the first. Still only on two under for the tournament.

  10. Charl in chargepublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

We know Schwartzel can go low around this course - he fired a 66 on the final day in 2011 to win the title. He's had back-to-back birdies at two and three and is now tied for seventh on five under.

Fowler has hit a sticky patch, he follows a poor par at 13 with a bogey at 14 to drop to -3. Goblets ahoy! John Senden drains a monster at 13 for the second eagle of the day at that hole, the Aussie moves to +1.

  13. Schwartzel -4published at 19:09 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Schwartzel, the 2011 champion, birdies two for the third day in a row and is in that large group on four under. Bubba Watson is putting together one of the more curious rounds of the week - he's started triple, birdie, birdie, birdie, bogey, birdie. He might even make par in a minute.
