Schwartzel -4, Haas -4
Former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel is up next with America's Bill Haas.
Holmes -4 (3)
A good start for American JB Holmes, who after two birdies through three holes on Saturday is up to tied sixth.
It follows two steady one-under rounds for Holmes, putting the 34-year-old on four under and currently the best placed of those out on course at Royal Troon.
Garcia -4, Johnston -4
Two of the most popular players on the circuit - Sergio Garcia and Andrew Johnston - get their third rounds started.
Garcia, with the driver in hand, wallops it on to the fairway. Johnston gets an even greater cheer from the fans, and responds with a thumbs-up gesture.
The Englishman produces an even further drive than Garcia managed. A great start for both, and they are well placed to move up the leaderboard instantly.
McIlroy E (5)
Bunker again for Rory McIlroy straight from the tee on the par-three third.
The Northern Irishman flops his bunker shot out of the sand and on to the green before watching it run up the hill towards the flag.
Rory starts his putt right from about seven feet out, it looks like it will break left enough at the last minute, but no. That's three bogeys in five holes. A poor start from the world number four.
McIlroy E (4)
Ben Dirs
BBC Sport at Royal Troon
One thing is certain, McIlroy will not die wondering. He's hitting the cover off his tee shots and finding the middle. But the grimace after missing that short putt at three said it all. Driving's for show, putting's for dough...
Cabrera-Bello -3, Kaymer -3 (1)
Rafael Cabrera-Bello gets up close and personal with the locals as his tee shot at the first ended the wrong side of the barrier. After much deliberation, he chips excellently out of danger and eventually escapes the hole unscathed.
Martin Kaymer also makes a decent recovery after shooting out of the rough and that means he also avoids any damage done to his scorecard. A 40-foot birdie attempt is unsuccessful, but he taps home for par. Both remain on three under.
McIlroy -1 (4)
Rory McIlroy on the par-five fourth finds the bunker beside the green with his approach shot. He clips out and chases towards the flag, scurrying a good six or seven feet past.
He's three-putted on two of his first three holes, but McIlroy needs just one at the fourth as he catches the downhill left to right break to birdie and claw a shot back.
Garcia -4, Johnston -4 (14:40)
Next on the tee is the leading Englishman Andrew Johnston, nicknamed Beef, the 27-year-old has become something of a cult hero this week at Troon.
He is joined by Sergio Garcia - will this finally be the Spaniard's year to break his major duck?

Mike Stevenson: Playing in a howling gale in the Falklands. Ball came to rest next to an anti-personnel mine. Partner made me play it as it lied.
That is extreme golf.

It is pretty bad for Rory McIlroy. He has had eight putts in three holes and I think that tells the story.

Day E (15)
Jason Day hates the turn at Troon. He's yet to see any red on his card there all week, and he won't at the 15th either.
The world number one manages to find a path between the spectators off the tee and has to undergo a bit of damage limitation to get it back into play. The crowd aren't moving, mind - a miscue from the Australian and they could have been in trouble.
He chips onto the far side of the green though, and then moves to within five feet of the cup. That's another bogey.
Kaymer, Cabrera-Bello (-3)
German Martin Kaymer was battling for the lead on day one, ending on five under on Thursday night.
However, the former world number one's title hopes may well have vanished on the 10th on Friday as he recorded a triple bogey seven on his way to a 73.
Kaymer, starting the day on three under, misses the first fairway, ending up in the rough.
But it is better than his playing partner Rafael Cabrera Bello, who has the crowd scuttling for cover as he goes right, into the spectators, off the first tee.
Fowler -3 (5)
Gerald Scott
BBC Sport Online
Rickie Fowler's flying start down the breezy front nine was overdue.Prior to the American's birdies at the second and the fourth, he had not birdied since the seventh the previous day.
Lots of calls of 'come on Ricky' from the galleries as he drives off at six now at -3
Rose +2 (18)
England's Justin Rose has finished for the day and is two over overall after a third round of a one-under-par 70.
He told Sky Sports: "I played really well and I feel I've played really well all week but have not got out a round I deserved.
"I wanted to be more aggressive and went with the driver off one, two and three, but I missed four six-eight foot putts in the first six holes."
McIlroy E (3)
Driver for Rory McIlroy at the third finds the middle of the fairway and with his second shot the world number four lobs it up away from the bunker and on to the green, around 12 feet from the pin.
An outside chance of a birdie for the 2014 champion, but that one's not dropping. And neither is next from close range...another three-putter from Rory, and a second bogey of the afternoon.
Des Smyth
Former Ryder Cup vice captain on BBC Radio 5 live
Rory McIlroy has started aggressively but he is two-over through three.
D Johnson -2
Not the start Dustin Johnson would have liked. He tugs his tee shot on the first to the left, finding only a bit of pretty unpleasant rough.
Rose +2 (18)
Justin Rose is back in the clubhouse with a one-under 70 to his name, better from the 2013 US Open champion after carding a 77 in difficult conditions on Friday.
Things could have been better for the Englishman though, a double bogey at 16 proving costly after four earlier birdies.
Day -1 (14)
World number one Jason Day with a 20-footer for birdie on the 14th, sends his putt left, but too far left with the ball never drifting back as he would've liked.
Nevertheless, he is still two under for the day, and one under for the tournament. But he would've hoped for much more after four birdies in his front nine. Two bogeys, with nothing to celebrate, have followed since the turn.
