Richard C Ridley: This is a classic, those missed putts on the 18th reminded me of watching Taylor v Davis.

Mark: And that is why Garcia does not have a major to his name. You have to take chances like that man.

Paolo Brand: Seeing Garcia & Rose's lasses hugging and laughing before the playoff just made me cry. A beautiful moment.

So if you have just joined us having heard of the drama, both Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia have ended three under for their rounds and nine under for the Masters.

It means we go to a play-off which will see us play holes 18 and 10, ending when one man cards a lower score on either hole. It's basically all in. Play safe and maybe regret it forever.

Sergio Garcia has so often been criticised for his putting and many will say that was a classic example. The Green Jacket was in his hands, he had four feet or so downhill to take ownership but it was tame.

One wonders if he'd have rather had something from two or three times further back.
