    Woods -3, Rahm -5 (10)

Tiger goes first, drawing one into the green... on a piece of string. A 10-foot birdie putt awaits. The angle gets the better of Jon Rahm, however, as do the Augusta contours. A kick right leaves him battling to save par...

    Woods -3, Rahm -5 (10)

Social golf. Tiger Woods and Jon Rahm will be striding up the fairway side-by-side on the 11th. Woods, on the right hand side, has the better line.

    McIlroy -1 (9) Fowler -3 (9)

Rory McIlroy, middle of the 10th fairway, hits a high fade, looks a bit short and is. This is the hardest hole on the course and both McIlroy and Rickie Fowler have work to do to escape without dropping.

Here's a man who knows how to tame Augusta. Adam Scott, who has Green Jacket hung up in his walk-in wardrobe, moves closer to the leaders.

The Aussie lays up in front of the water on the par-five 13th and it proves a wise move. An inch-perfect knock leaves him with a simple putt for back-to-back birdies.

    One off the lead....

    Oosthuizen -5 (12)

The 2010 Open Champion builds on an exquisite tee shot on 12 with a nice roll home. Louis Oosthuizen within two and walking on to a par five.

  7. Harding moves to seven underpublished at 21:45 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Harding -7 (17)

South Africa's Justin Harding is flying at the moment. That's his fifth birdie on the back nine and that long putter of his is red hot.

We've got a four-way tie for the lead.

    Woods -3, Rahm -5 (10)

Knees bent, putter clasped... Tiger Woods thinks he's got this birdie putt on 10... but then he's grimacing. A 32-footer ends just short and he will have to settle for a par.

Jon Rahm has a similar putt to his colleague... he's left that even shorter. And then rams in his par putt.

  11. Chasing dangerspublished at 21:41 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Scott -5 (12) Oosthuizen -4 (11)

Louis Oosthuizen not going away just yet. At four under he just sends one into orbit which drops four feet from the pin on the 12th. A cracking birdie chance for the South African.

Adam Scott also has a look at birdie on the par-five 13th from a similar distance. Two men chasing the headline makers of the day.

  12. Rory chuckles...published at 21:38 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    McIlroy -1 (9)

Rory McIlroy stands and chuckles on the ninth green as his ball looks in all the way, only to fade inches shy. He makes the turn two under for the day and at least now under par for the tournament. Much can happen on the back nine...

  13. Woods birdies to move to three underpublished at 21:32 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Woods -3 (9)

Not up, not in. Tiger Woods is not going to die wondering on an uphill 37-foot birdie putt. A right old bash out the sweet spot of the putter and it drop to cheers.

One under to the turn, three under overall.

  14. Eagle for McIlroypublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    McIlroy -1 (8)

Rory McIlroy flexes the biceps and rattles a monster 340-yard drive down the middle. His approach from 225 yards hops up to within eight feet and he cosies home the eagle putt.

Looks easy when you do it like that.

Mike: If Francesco Molinari wins the Masters will he be the first player to win after caddying a previous year?

As far as I know Mike, though Francis Ouimet, Gene Sarazen, and Chick Evans all caddied before going on to major or amateur titles.

    Woods -2 (8)

Tiger Woods finds the fairway bunker on eight, sticks his third on the upper tier when the stick in on the bottom deck, snakes his fourth six foot past and stomps in frustration as his fifth fails to drop.

  18. Postpublished at 21:17 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Spieth -1, Casey +10, Koepka -7 (18)

Somebody call a taxi for Paul Casey and get him out of here. The Englishman, considered as a contender a couple of days ago, has had a nightmare. His week, rather aptly, finishes with another bogey.

After dropping a shot on the first, Jordan Spieth moves through the gears to finish with a four-under 68.

  19. Koepka back in share of the leadpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Spieth -1, Casey +10, Koepka -7 (18)

That's a finishing move which most WWE wrestlers would be proud of. Brooks Koepka has the flag in a choke hold with a 136-yard approach and beats his opponent with a confident putt.

The three-time major winner finishes a topsy-turvy round with his fifth birdie, meaning he cards a one-under 71 and elbows his way back alongside Francesco Molinari and Jason Day at the top of the tree.

  20. 'I’m on the board'published at 21:10 British Summer Time 12 April 2019

    Poulter -5 (F)

    Ian PoulterImage source, BBC Sport

Ian Poulter seems in a fairly philosophical mood after finishing the day one under par to go to five under for the championship.

Or in other words he's right in the conversation at the top of the leaderboard:

"I’m a little frustrated with a couple of holes coming in. I missed a putt on 18, there was an up and down on 17 and a three-putt on 14 so I'm a little disappointed it wasn't as clinical as yesterday, but it wasn't as easy.

"I'm ok though, I’m on the board and it’s going to be a good weekend. Tee to green has been great over the last few months and I hung in there and holed a couple of nice par putts.

"My game is in good shape. I need to stay patient and have fun, there is a long way to go. If you put yourself in position with nine holes to play on Sunday you’re in position.

"Who knows what can happen down that stretch and hopefully I’ll be in the mix."
