  1. Sagstrom nudges aheadpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Sagstrom v Ewing (10)

Ewing is left with a par putt from the eight-foot region to stay in this hole, but unlike so many more she's nailed previously this one just slides by the cup and she slips one behind starting the back nine.

  3. Korda moves ahead of Hallpublished at 19:30 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Hall v N Korda 1UP (8)

Georgia Hall's three-putt to lose the sixth hole is looking like a huge momentum shifter at the moment.

Nelly Korda is wading right in too. A birdie putt on the par-five eighth is enough to see the American put a bit of red on the leaderboard.

  4. Salas pulls back to all-square once morepublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Castren A/S Salas (6)

Matilda Castren skirts around the edge of the cup on a par-putt around 12ft to tie the hole - and that precious lead drifts away and we are back at all-square.

A real case of 'anything you can do, I will just take away, thank you very much!'

  5. Noh wins all four against Reidpublished at 19:28 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Reid v Noh 4UP (4)

Make that oh Noh, Noh, Noh, Noh for Reid as she lips out a par putt on the fourth and incredibly she's lost all four holes played so far to the rookie American.

Europe are not doing too badly but many won't believe this score on the leaderboard when the see it.

  6. Kang eagles for all-squarepublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Pedersen A/S Kang (2)

Pedersen gets herself out of the fluufy nonsense at the back of the green but with Kang with an eagle putt in hand, Pedersen concedes the hole, and we are back to all-square in the anchor match.

    4UP Maguire v Kupcho (8)

Jennifer Kupcho has her work cut out here. Is this the start of her comeback?

She zips a wonderful shot out of the fairway bunker to land pin high, with her ball spinning off to finish six feet from the hole.

It's a par but par golf does not cut the mustard against Leona Maguire at the moment, who halves the hole.

How long can Kupcho keep the Irish player out on the course? Fatigue playing a part seems her best chance at the moment!

  8. What a scene!published at 19:21 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

No European fans but it's packed in Ohio and it's a wonderful atmosphere for what is turning out to be a Solheim Cup for the ages.

    Nordqvist v Thompson 1UP (10)

Great shot. Anna Nordqvist puts herself in pole position to draw level after a laser-guided approach to the 10th.

The Swede played a fairly short iron and landed it dead eight feet or so from the pin.

After watching that Lexi Thompson chews the fat with her caddie before playing a nice-looking shot down the left.

She's on the green but a good 30 feet from the hole. Nordqvist probably won't get a read from this as it's a slightly different angle. It's close but no cigar for the American.

But then Nordvist pushes her putt right and fails to convert.

  10. Get involvedpublished at 19:19 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

As it stands the US are leading in three matches, Europe are up in four. And that means five are all square.

Still confident of a Europe win?

Thumbs up for yes. Thumbs down for a US victory...

    Sagstrom A/S Ewing (9)

You won’t see two better birdies on the ninth and they’ve come in the same group. Ewing tucked her second shot in nice and close but fair play to Sagstrom who responded by spinning one back even closer.

They both make deserved threes in a top quality end to the front nine.

  12. Pedersen takes the first holepublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Pedersen v Kang (1)

Emily Pedersen strikes one for Europe and gets another splash of blue on the ball as she pars the first hole and Danielle Kang can only manage a bogey to start.

  13. Castren goes one up againpublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Castren v Salas (5)

Matilda Castren has been a bit of a spectator for a couple of holes after a strong start on the first but Lizette Salas' miss of a tiddler on the fifth silences the crowd quite effectively!

Nerves, short putts, tension - you have to love it.

  14. Hull goes one uppublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Hull v J.Korda (3)

Charley Hull is a proper player – 202 yards to cover on the third, long iron in hand, no tee below the ball and she rips it superbly onto the dancefloor and well within birdie range.

Korda’s response is a push into the right bunker which has short-sided her and that looks as a nasty shot as you can get with hos firm these greens are right now.

No surprises then when Hull rolls in the birdie to go one up.

    Koerst Madsen A/S Ernst (5)

There maybe 22 places in the world rankings between these two players (in the American's favour) but there is nothing separating Nanna Koerst Madsen and Austin Ernst at the moment.

  16. Reid three downpublished at 19:11 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Reid v Noh 3UP (3)

It's a case of Noh, Noh, Noh for Mel Reid as the European stalwart has lost the first three holes to the American rookie.

  17. Sagstrom all squarepublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Sagstrom A/S Ewing (8)

Sagstrom finally manages to get back on terms with a tap-in birdie on the eighth to get this back to all square as they head to the final hole of the front nine.

Entertaining stuff from yet another tight match.

  18. Thompson hits the frontpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Nordqvist v Thompson 1UP (9)

Anna Nordqvist in a spot of bother on the ninth after finding the left bunker. She pitches out but needs to sink a par putt from around eight feet. She does.

It rattles the back of the cup after turning from left to right.

Lexi Thompson with a slightly longer downhill putt for birdie incoming. It's in. The American is pumped. The crowd is pumped.

Thompson in front for the first time in the match. This is starting to feel a little like their halved singles meeting at Des Moines in 2017.

  19. Postpublished at 19:04 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Hall A/S Korda (7)

It's Nelly Korda's turn to have a putt for the win. She's on the par-four seventh. It's an outside chance, 25-footer, down the hill. Not enough revs on that one, the ball pulling up a couple of feet short.

Georgia Hall safely in for par. Hole halved.
