    Nordqvist A/S Thompson (13)

Two birdie putts coming up on the 13th.

Lexi Thompson plays up the hill....is that going to drop? No. It misses on the right by a whisker.

Anna Nordqvist has a tricky left to right putt which runs up left of the hole before slowing down and coming to a stop a couple of inches away.

  2. Boutier leads by three at the turnpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    3UP Boutier v Harigae (9)

That's back-to-back holes for Boutier as the Frenchwoman just starts to turn the screw by opening up a three hole lead.

It was just a par on eight but it's a birdie on nine and that's now a healthy lead for Europe in this one.

You wouldn't know if from the look of her but Boutier is three up at the turn.

  3. Pedersen regains the leadpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Pedersen v Kang (5)

Emily Pedersen capitalises on her great tee shot onto the dancefloor, and birdies the fifth, and once more Europe see a flash of blue on the last spot on the leaderboard.

  4. Hall hits backpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Hall v N Korda 1UP (10)

Georgia Hall has made more birdies than player on the LPGA Tour this season. More than 250 of them in fact.

I wonder how many she'd trade for one right now. She's got a 15-footer to win the 10th after Nelly Korda slides her attempt three feet past the hole.

Is that a little bit of emotion from Hall? She's usually so straight-faced but there's a hint of a smile, a fist pump. The lead is halved.

  5. Postpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    4UP Maguire v Kupcho (10)

What's this Jennifer Kupcho with a chance to grab a hole back against Leona Maguire at the 10th?

But she hits a tentative putt and ends up having to knock in a shortish putt to halve the hole.

On Sky, former American major champion Dottie Pepper described her first putt as a “a serious power outage." Ouch.

  6. Sagstrom two aheadpublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    2UP Sagstrom v Ewing (12)

Lovely tee shot at the par three 12th by Sagstrom and although Ewing also finds the dancefloor it's miles away in comparison.

The American does well to make her par but it's a two for Sagstrom - and a two hole lead after 12.

  7. Postpublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Pedersen A/S Kang (4)

Danielle Kang on the fifth tee pulls too much to the left and finds the sand.

No such issue for Emily Pederson who finds the green.

Could we see a shift in momentum on this hole?

  8. Third time lucky for Cigandapublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Ciganda v Altomare (6)

Carlota Ciganda rolls in a 12-footer for par on the sixth to take the lead against Brittany Altomare.

The Spaniard has led three times in this match now already. following her round is a bit like getting on the 'Big Dipper' rollercoaster.

  9. Boutier doubles her leadpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    2UP Boutier v Harigae (8)

Celine Boutier makes a par five on the eighth and it's enough to give her the hole and a two hole lead over Mina Harigae.

So many tight matches out here so that extra hole lead is always welcome.

  11. Postpublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    1UP Sagstrom v Ewing (11)

It's a huge cheer and a big celebration from Ewing after sinking a five-foot putt down the hill on 11, so we just have to check that it was actually for a half.

It was. A big noise for a halved hole but it was needed and she stays just one down.

  12. Postpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Castren A/S Salas (7)

Lizette Salas putting at a little under 10ft to win the hole and where she has been so solid in the week, she pushes the putt just away to the right. Not used to seeing her miss those kind of sitters.

Matilda Castren gets a little gift with that miss and they remain tied through seven holes.

    This is tight.

  13. Nordqvist level after superb approachpublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Nordqvist A/S Thompson (12)

This is getting better and better.

Anna Nordqvist looks as though she is playing pitch and putt on the 152-yard 12th, landing her ball on the bank/left fringe and seeing it work its way down to three or four feet from the cup.

Lexi Thompson takes two putts for par. Big moment coming for Nordqvist...

In drops her ball for a two.

  14. Postpublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    2UP Hull v J.Korda (5)

Big chance missed by Hull after a sparkling iron shot left her just four feet or so but her putt is pulled just a touch and it doesn’t make any contact with the hole.

That was to win it though so she remains two up but those chances don’t come around too often – it's important to get as far ahead as you can here.

  15. Korda in controlpublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Hall v N Korda 2UP (9)

On the ninth hole. Nelly Korda. A birdie chance for the American. Ten feet. Tickled down the hill. The ball slides by the right edge.

Georgia Hall, from just inside that distance, has a putt coming up the green. Fractionally under-hit. Hole to USA

  16. Reid pulls one backpublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Reid v Noh 3UP (5)

If anyone could recover from losing the first four holes then it would be Mel Reid - she's as tough as they come and the ultimate competitor, and she's at least stopped the rot here by taking the fifth.

It's only a par on the short hole but it's enough to get one back on the rookie.

  17. Postpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Nordqvist v Thompson 1UP (11)

What a match this is turning out to be.

Another chance for Anna Nordqvist on the 11th but once again her putt is an inch or two off allowing Lexi Thompson to chip on from the back of the green and then knock in a tiddler to halve the hole.

Thompson very much in full defence mode at the moment.

  18. Khang in controlpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Popov v Khang 3UP (5)

Megan Khang is moving clear in her match with Sophia Popov. A third birdie in four holes sees the American three holes to the good.

Popov has played the first five holes in par. But pars are not good enough in this match at the moment.

  19. Hull two in frontpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    2UP Hull v J.Korda (4)

Well, that's one way to lose a hole with Korda in the bunker but her ball out of it, she tries to nudge it back onto the green but she slides the blade of her wedge right underneath the ball, which was obviously sitting up in the lush rough.

It's an instant concession from the American as Hull leads by two.

  20. Postpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    4UP Maguire v Kupcho (9)

More trouble for Jennifer Kupcho? As if she isn't in enough already the American finds herself stood in a bunker playing from the banking above it.

A touch of heavy hands sees her approach shoot through the green.

Maguire with another birdie putt to snaffle another hole? Nope just touch much turn on that. Hold on this hole is still in play.

Kupcho is asked to hole a three-footer to halve the hole, which she does. Nervously.
