    2UP Pedersen v Thompson (4)

Lexi Thompson hits the pin with a chip that stops it going way past on the fourth.

That was looking like a European win because Emily Pedersen is eight feet away.

Pedersen says 'no problem' and holes her putt to half.

  2. All square at the turnpublished at 13:24 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Hall v Lee A/S (9)

The way things are working out on the scoreboard, the two all-square matches could be absolutely vital - and this one reaches the turn with Georgia Hall and Andrea Lee level.

It's been pretty tight, but Hall has missed a couple of short putts which have cost her two holes - she'll hope she isn't looking back on those later.

    3UP Maguire v Zhang (13)

    Iain Carter
BBC golf correspondent on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Leona Maguire is Europe's successor to Catriona Matthew. She will be a long-time player in this team and utterly dependable, every time she tees it up.

  5. Yin messes uppublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Boutier v Yin 1UP (8)

Angel Yin makes a mess of the eighth with two pretty shoddy putts it has to be said - and that hands the hole to Celine Boutier and cuts the lead to just one.

After winning the first, Boutier hasn't really been in this match but if she can turn this around it'll be a huge bonus.

  6. Maguire back to threepublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    3UP Maguire v Zhang (13)

Rose Zhang doesn't threaten to hole her long putt and tells Leona Maguire to pick up her marker.

    Back to three up.

    Holes running out for Zhang.

  7. Postpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Nordqvist v Kupcho (10)

Anna Nordqvist is in control of her match and finds another green in regulation at the 11th.

    She wants a point badly.

  8. Postpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Maguire v Zhang (12)

Rose Zhang takes too much club with her approach and she has 30ft for a five.

That's going to be six, almost certainly.

Leona Maguire chips to three feet in three.

  9. Slow play dampening atmospherepublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Peter Scrivener
    BBC Sport at Finca Cortesin

I thought Jennifer Kupcho played slowly but we’ve had to wait AN AGE for this next group to arrive on nine.

Georgia Hall and Andrea Lee are at least a hole, possibly two, behind the group in front. The match may be tight but it’s not helping the atmosphere on nine if there’s a big gap between play.

Gemma Dryburgh is in the following group and they’d probably be asking to play through if this wasn’t the Solheim Cup!

  10. Kang in chargepublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    3UP Kang v Hull (12)

Danielle Kang is back to three in front of Charlie Hull thanks to another birdie at the par-three 12th. Kang's been in charge from the start and looks to be heading for a comfortable point.

  11. Postpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Maguire v Zhang (12)

Rose Zhang finds the penalty area on the 13th - the ravine short of the green.

She dropped out of it, so is now playing four to the green.

This will be infuriating for her after winning the last.

  12. Sagstrom in big troublepublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Sagstrom v Vu 5UP (6)

It goes from bad to worse for Madelene Sagstrom as even when Lilia Vu doesn't win the hole, the Swede loses it by missing a three-footer.

She's now five down and this match looks as good as done already.

  13. All square in match 10published at 13:13 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Stark v Corpuz A/S (4)

These two are still all square, by the way.

Don't worry, we will be hearing plenty about this match later, I suspect.

  14. Dryburgh back to two uppublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Dryburgh v Knight (8)

Gemma Dryburgh is in the driving seat on the eighth but Cheyenne Knight holes a 50ft putt and the Scot can't make her 10ft one to halve.

That was an unlikely win for the American, but she gets back to two down.

  15. So close!published at 13:12 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Grant v Khang 2UP (14)

Megan Khang must be a real pain to play against, as even when she's in trouble in the bunker at 14 she almost holes out!

Linn Grant has driven the green and has a lengthy putt for an eagle - it tracks all the way but pulls up just short - one more roll would've done it!

High-quality match this one but Grant is running out of holes now...

  16. Pedersen in chargepublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Pedersen v Thompson (4)

Emily Pedersen moves two up. Lexi Thompson couldn't make her par putt.

After a poor Friday morning, the Dane has played really well.

I wouldn't fancy chasing her down from three back so Thompson needs to be very careful.

  17. Hedwall strugglingpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Hedwall v Ewing 2UP (6)

Caroline Hedwall has work to do in match eight.

    Ally Ewing moves two up.

The Swede played just once before today, remember, and lost.

  18. Hall hands lead backpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Hall v Lee A/S (8)

You never want to lose a hole to par, but Georgia Hall has done just that on the eighth as she bogeys the par five to allow Andrea Lee to win her second hole in three and bring this match back level.

  19. Zhang fights backpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    2UP Maguire v Zhang (12)

    Four for Leona Maguire. Bogey.

That gives Rose Zhang a chance to get one back and she does via a nice putt that swung right to left.

  20. Yin goes two uppublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 24 September 2023

    Boutier v Yin 2UP (7)

Angel Yin profits again from a Celine Boutier bogey - she's not had her best stuff the last couple of days, with perhaps her best golf of the week coming in that opening session beating on Friday morning.
