Well how strange. Glenn Irwin and Davey Todd are out of contention after a bizarre moment at University, with Irwin seeming to decide to take the slip road instead of turning, which seemed to throw off Davey Todd who veers off onto the grass. Two big names away from the front.
Michael Dunlop has caught Alastair Seeley but the Wee Wizard still leads.
Glenn Irwin told us after the opening Superbike race that he was thinking about giving this one a miss but he's had a change of heart and he's out there on the front row with Alastair Seeley.
Seeley is being challenged by Todd and Irwin in the opening exchanges.

Davey Todd says he hasn't been feeling too well this morning, which makes his double podium even more impressive.
Anyway, the Superstocks are out there on a warm-up lap as he prepare for our penultimate race of the day.
Quote MessageI'd like to think I can get a good start. We'll see where we are at the end of University and go from there.

Here's confirmation of the final standings in the second Supertwin race.
Richard Cooper and his team will enjoy looking at this.

Quote MessageAfter Thursday night I thought Alastair Seeley would take man of the meeting but it hasn't been a great day for Alastair so far and it is Richard Cooper who seems to be stealing the limelight so far.
Strong words from Ryan Farquhar on the protest that has been made against Cooper's KMR Kawasaki, the outcome of which remains undecided.
Quote MessageThere's been a protest on a technicality over a bracket. They told us we were disqualified but I fought my corner because you're allowed to change tour brackets. We put an appeal in so that's where we're at, at the minute. If it was that big an issue there was no way Richard should have been out there, the bike has gone through scrutiny all week. There's no performance gain with it whatsoever so I think if they do disqualify us through that it'll just be sour grapes
Ryan Farquhar, KMR Kawasaki owner
Quote MessageMy team were amazing and we perform under pressure. When you see the programmes being waved on the last lap it really is something special. I can't fault this little Kwasaki, if I could take it home with me I would.
Richard Cooper, Supertwin winner
A brilliant second for Joe Loughlin and Lee Johnston wins a thoroughly enjoyable battle for third.
I mean, it could not have been any better for Richard Cooper on the Supertwin today.
A sensational double in which he was not troubled across eight laps.
Coward makes his move up towards Magheraboy chicane and sails past Johnston but has to break meaning McWilliams holds onto third.
Then it's utterly brilliant from Lee Johnston taking the inside line to move above his two closest competitors.
Quote MessageRichard Cooper really is in a class of his own in this race. We are running out of superlatives to describe him.
Richard Petrie, Radio Ulster race commentator
Jeremy McWilliams absolutely smokes Lee Johnston on the slipstream to reclaim third but it's still all to play for as they go through Ballysally and up to Mathers Cross.
Michael Sweeney has dropped off but Jamie Coward is right there with McWilliams and Johnston, impossible to call right now.
Andy Gray
BBC Sport NI at the North West 200
Richard Cooper certainly isn't letting the protest get to him. He is absolutely on it and in a league of his own.
Lee Johnston is all about ding-dong battles today.
After edging out Davey Todd in that pulsating Supersport race he's going tit-for-tat with Jeremy McWilliams in a fight for third.
He is so fast along the coast road but McWilliams leads Coward and Michael Sweeney in following him closely as they begin the last last.
Richard Cooper looks good in first and Joe Loughlin is comfortably second, but third is really up for grabs.
Christian Elkin comes off the bike but is back onto his feet.
Richard Cooper meanwhile has just set another Supertwin lap record (110.4mph), he is absolutely flying out there and well on his way to another win.
McWilliams is back up into third ahead of Johnston and Jamie Coward.
