Look to the lights, the engine notes rise......AND WE ARE RACING!

  8. 'I don't think it will bother him one bit'published at 19:29 British Summer Time 9 May

    Superstock race (Four laps)

    Jenny Tinmouth
Fastest woman around the IOM TT

I think it'll be difficult if he's suffering a little bit. If he has hurt himself in anyway and if that's going to affect him at all.

The crash itself I don't think will bother him one bit.

    Superstock race one (Four laps)

The bikes are back on the grid after their warm-up lap.

There's plenty of cloud about so hopefully the setting sun won't cause a problem going over the top of Black Hill on the coast road.

The camera lingers on Davey Todd - it's fair to say he looks focused.

  10. Sighting lappublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 9 May

    Superstock race one (Four laps)

A battered and bruised Davey Todd leads the Superstock machines away as we get ready for the final race of the evening.

  11. 'It was a race he was really looking forward to'published at 19:19 British Summer Time 9 May

Todd crashes out of Supersport race

    Philip McCallen
11-time race winner at the NW200

So unfortunate. No one means for these things to happen. Everyone is all fired up and everyone wants to get to York corner first. Maybe some people will have warmed the breaks up better than others.

Adam McClean overjudged it and unfortunately Davey [Todd] was taken out.

It was a race he was really looking forward to, this race coming up now is one he also wants to win.

  13. Todd set to start Superstock racepublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 9 May

Both Davey Todd and Adam McLean look set to start the final Superstock race of the evening.

Todd walked back to his area in the pits and it's safe to say he isn't overly happy with that first-lap accident.

His team had a quick look at his hand and he's now changed into his BMW leathers.

He'll be looking to make amends from pole position.

  14. 'I wasn't riding fast enough to start with'published at 19:07 British Summer Time 9 May

Peter Hickman pips Michael Dunlop to second place in Supersport race

Peter Hickman speaking to BBC Sport NI: "It wasn't really the plan but I had to have a word with myself mid-race. I just wasn't riding properly.

"It always takes me a while to get going on Supersport bike. There was a bit of a melee at the start, I hope both the boys are alright.

"Coops [Richard Cooper] got away, and once Michael [Dunlop] came through, I just wasn't riding properly.

"Halfway through I had a bit of a word with myself, sorted myself out and managed to close the gap.

"In the last lap I just managed to get it right and here we are.

"Down to me, not the bike, all down to me. I wasn't riding fast enough to start with."I needed to break later and put the foot down earlier."

    Richard Cooper wins Supersport race

BBC Sport NI speaking to Michael Dunlop: "We've just been struggling all of today. It's come back to haunt me a little bit. I knew Pete [ Hickman] was there, I could hear it in the background. I knew he was going to have a lunge at me.

"It's been a struggle. We've been hit with a load of challenges over the last few weeks. We're just trying to progress to try and make it better and try and make a step."

Here's your top six from the Supersport race.

Richard Cooper and Mike Browne were the stars from that race, but let's hope Davey Todd and Adam McLean are okay after that first-lap spill.

Remember, Todd is set to start from pole in the final Superstock race of the evening.

  17. 'We will take what comes our way'published at 18:59 British Summer Time 9 May

    Richard Cooper wins Supersport race

Richard Cooper on the first-lap crash: "My poor start put me in a position to watch it all unfold. I could see Adam McLean go in real hot. Davey [Todd] got the Ducati stopped really good and he was going to nail the apex, but before he got there Adam just wiped him out.

"We have to take it when it comes our way. I rode a good race but I didn't realise I was so far in front. I was trying to see what the crowd was saying to see if I had a gap or not. I felt fairly consistent, but I think we have more in the tank if we need it."
