Lap 4/4
Hickman has another look into Metropole and gets it done. Can Dunlop hit back?
There's the coast road to go!
Lap 4/4
Hickman has a quick look into Mather's Cross but again, he holds station. Is he saving it for the last run to Juniper?
Lap 4/4
Hickman is right with Dunlop through Station corner, but he slots back into place heading into University.
Behind, Mike Browne is now up to eighth. What a ride that is!
Lap 3/4
Richard Cooper now leads by 5.3 seconds out front, with Hickman now 0.172 behind Dunlop - he's right on his back wheel.
Cooper is one lap away from a first Supersport win and his fourth overall at the North West 200.
Lap 3/4
Mike Browne has put in a superb recovery to work his way back into the back of the gaggle we keep going on about.
It's a shame we didn't get to see that pace out front.
Lap 3/4
Conor Cummins now leads that group ahead of Paul Jordan, who just slipped up the inside of Michael Evans.
Jeremy McWilliams, Gary McCoy and Craig Neve are still right in the mix too.
Lap 3/4
Lee Johnston
Five-time winner at the NW200
Good battle this. Four or five riders.
This is what we wanted to see at the front. Unfortunately, the crash involving Davey [Todd]. Hopefully everybody's okay there.
Lap 3/4
Cooper is still miles clear out front, but Hickman is catching Michael Dunlop for second.
The gaggle behind are still battling away, knowing they could end up on the podium if any of the front three hit trouble.
Lap 2/4
Cooper's advantage is up to three seconds over Dunlop, with Hickman 1.1 seconds further back.
The battle from fourth to ninth are all covered by less than one second, which is a brilliant scrap. It's Michael Evans who holds the advantage so far.
Lap 2/4
Cummins then goes wide at Metropole and Michael Evans slips back through.
Out front, Cooper has worked a big margin back up.
Lap 2/4
Conor Cummins move up to fourth into Mather's Cross, with Jeremy McWilliams right in the mix too.
Lap 2/4
It's still Cooper who is out front but Michael Dunlop and Peter Hickman are working together to try and reel him in.
It's a healthy lead heading into University on the second lap, but it's not insurmountable.
There's a big gaggle of riders behind who are scrapping for a top-five finish.
Lap 1/4
Richard Cooper is 1.2 seconds clear of Dunlop and Hickman. Michael Evans is a superb fourth and Jeremy McWilliams rounds out the top five.
Mike Browne is down to 14th after getting caught up in the first-lap accident.
Lap 1/4
Richard Cooper is miles clear out front heading into Metropole.
Dunlop and Hickman are duelling for second on the run up Dhu Varren.
Lap 1/4
Cooper is into the lead at University but we hope Adam McLean and Davey Todd are alright. That was a big hit, so we hope they are alright.
Michael Dunlop is into second and Peter Hickman is third.
Lap 1/4
Adam McLean loses it into York corner and wipes out Davey Todd!
Both are out of the race!
Lap 1/4
It's Todd who gets the hole shot!
He leads off the line and Cooper is shuffled back to fourth!
Supersport race (Four laps)
Look to the lights, the engine notes rise....AND WE'RE RACING!
Supersport race (Four laps)
The bikes are making their way back to the grid. The temperatures have dropped big time as the sun dips behind the clouds.
The temperature may have drooped, but this one has the potential to be as hot as the Superbike opener.
Can Michael Dunlop, Mike Browne or any of the chasing pack join Richard Cooper and Davey Todd at the front of the pack?
Glenn Irwin wins Superbike race
Philip McCallen
11-time race winner at the NW200
Unbelievable! He played it right to the last corner. Davey Todd put up a bigger fight than Glenn expected I think.
The bikes were pretty even on power. They were coming out of corners at the same sort of pace and going in at the same pace at the break.
Glenn had to use everything to get that one.
He said he has a bit reserved, we'll find out when the next big race comes.
