It's an improvement, but Laugher and Goodfellow are still at the bottom of the lederboard. They have at least drawn level with the Italian and Mexican pairs.

Much better than the first round, but not quite in line....

Wobbly start for Great Britain, they were last after the first round.
It wasn't brilliant, more splash then he would have liked by Goodfellow.
But it's only the first round and we can afford to stay calm.
What we are looking for here is consistency like Matty Lee and Tom Daley which I'm sure they will bring.

It's the end of the road for Andy Murray and Joe Salisbury who looked like such a fantastic team up until about 25 minutes go when Croatia found their form.
Britain faded quite quickly at the end of the second set and in the match tie-break.
Andy Murray will not win his fourth Olympic medal and you have to wonder if he will be around in Paris, he will be 37.
It could well be that we've seen this great Olympian for the last time in these Games.
Men's 3m synchro
We'll be keeping you across this diving competition, keeping an eye on the men's time trial and reflecting on defeat for Joe Salisbury and Andy Murray, who have just lost in the men's doubles.

China already out in front but Dan Goodfellow and Jack Laugher in 8th, but very tight scores so far
Men's 3m synchro
Not the start they would have wanted, but a long way to go. Laugher and Goodfellow are bottom of the eight-pair leaderboard after the first of six dives.
Men's 3m synchro
Now time to draw breath, GB's Jack Laugher and Dan Goodfellow have just made the entry in the men's 3m synchro.
Remember, Laugher won gold in this event four years ago with Chris Mears, who has since retired to pursue his music career.
Men's doubles
Andy Murray's bid to become the first man to win four Olympic tennis medals is over. He and Joe Salisbury are out of the men's doubles at the quarter-final stage, beaten by Croatia's Marin Cilic and Ivan Dogic.
To lose two tie-breakers is galling.

Murray holds once.
Back to 9-7.
GB still on the brink, though...

Men's doubles
Joe Salisbury digs in. He holds both points on his serve, the second thanks to a crisp Andy Murray volley.
Still, it's 8-5, with Croatia now serving twice...

Trouble. A frustrated Andy Murray loses the first point on his pair of serves. Britain are a mini-break down.
Make that two....

We are still waiting for the first British cyclist to get underway.
It's a time trial - it's a race against the clock and you have to be aerodynamic.
It's 44.2km with 750m of climbing to be done.
There's fans on the outside of the road which is nice to see.
