Brilliant again. She's the one who wins the ball in the air, she doesn't just admire that header, she goes straight away 'where is that ball going to go?' and she's the first one to react.

The Australian keeper, Teagan Micah, we praised her earlier but she's got to do better there. It goes straight at her and she just needs to push it away. I don't want to take anything away from Ellen White though because it's brilliant movement from her.

Ellen White made it all herself, off a throw-in she tries to find Lauren Hemp who keeps it alive, then it falls to White and she's the quickest to react, she keeps it low. The Australia keeper could've done better for me but because she keeps it low and gets good contact on she can't palm it away, she palms it into her own net.

Brilliant, she is a fox in the box an anything around there she is gong to punish you.

Right until the final whistle.

An astonishing match, full of lactic and skill.

And touching scenes at the end as Britain's players all console the tearful USA captain Abbie Gustaitis.

Great Britain are through to the last four and will play either France or China for a place in the final.

Ellen White strikes again!

She wins the initial header that comes into the box and a mix-up in the Matildas defence hands the ball back to her in a dangerous position inside the box.

No messing. First touch. Back of the net. Team GB lead!

Absolutely fantastic from Ellen White, You can see how much that means to her, it's just that desire to get at the end of it.

Again, it's Lauren Hemp causing the problems, she cuts inside onto her left foot and it's a brilliant delivery. White just gets in between the defenders and what a clinical header that.

GB can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Australia almost immediately re-take the lead, but Steph Houghton turns the ball against her own crossbar while attempting a clearance!

That was close.

I am cramping just typing this. Never mind playing in it.

Heroic multi-phase defence by Great Britain. Exhausting to watch.

Eventually Kristi Kirshe gets over for the United States.

The conversion is missed though and that has made the comeback that much harder. The Americans are still three scores adrift.

That's the first time GB have put the ball into the box for Ellen White to get a fantastic header on. Wonderful ball from Lauren Hemp, it had the pace so all White had to do was get contact on and Teagan Micah has got no chance.

That's the service that you have to give her, if you don't do that she's redundant in this game - keep doing that!
