Australia have come out of the blocks in this second half, pushing Team GB back in terms of how they're pressing.

Team GB look slightly rattled, we just need to get the ball back, get some people on the ball. Australia have been pressing and hunting us down. We need a change sooner rather than later, no room for error now.

Lauren Hemp bursts into the box and she's sandwiched between two Matildas players before Ellie Carpenter shoves her off the ball and onto the ground. You can hear the screams from the GB players as they look for a foul and it's checked by VAR, but nothing is given.

If they beat the United States in this last-eight game, they would face either France or China in the semi-finals. The New Zealand v Fiji match on the other side for the draw looks far tougher.

Team GB have been dominant in possession but get done on the counter and give away a set play. There's been chances for GB but they haven't had the final execution that's needed. There's still 45 minutes to go we still have a fantastic bench that can come on and change things. I still think we need a threat in behind, pace and running in behind the backline is a weakness in this Australian side they aren't very quick.

There's got to be a different threat. But it is only 1-0, we're still in the game.

Here's that goal which gave the Matildas the lead over Team GB. Hege Riise's side know they can defend better than that.

Australia have gone on to win 80 of their last 90 women's 'A' internationals (drawn seven, lost three) where they have led at half-time on the day.

Canada and Brazil are still goalless. There's only a few minutes left of normal time so it looks like they are heading to extra time in their quarter-final.

The winner of that match plays either the Netherlands or the United States in the last four.

The whistle goes and Team GB trail the Matildas at the break. Hege Riise's side will be frustrated with that Alanna Kennedy goal they conceded from the set piece. As they did in their final group game against Canada, GB will have to stage a comeback if they want a result from this one.
