    Men's Finn class

    BBC One

GB's gold medallist Giles Scott: "I told myself after my race that I'd never watch it again, this is the first time I've had a little snapshot of it ...and I still don't want to watch it back. It was amazing to just about do enough, nice to provide a little bit of drama there as well.

On the Finn class being scrapped: "The Finn's gone, it's really quite sad. As Team GB, we've got such an amazing history, it's been a medal that we've won since 2000, first with Iain Percy and then with Ben Ainslie. It is really sad to see it move on. It's those younger guys that aren't going to get the amazing chance that I had, that's the sad thing.

"Sad times for the Finn class, but equally I think the sport of sailing is in a great spot. We march on into the future."

Paul Williams: So many questions about the pool in the middle of the Tokyo stadium pitch, but given the heat today, the main one has to be...once the event is over, are competitors allowed to dive/ jump in, in celebration, to cool off?

Excellent question, Paul, could stage the fencing round in there to keep them cool, or have it played out on a podium above and see the losers tumble into the splash in a modern pentathlon meets Total Wipeout meets Gladiators-style mash-up?
