My friends. The man mountain Alex Bysouth has tagged me in but this ain't no Roman wrestling, this is hardened track action and boy do we have an hour ahead of us.
Bring your stamina for the 1500m, bring your pace for the 4x100m relay and please, whatever you do, DO NOT bring a botched baton change.
So then... Laura Muir... what have you got?

Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
Last time she had to dive over the line but this time it was majestic. There was a lot of control, her experience and belief.
Jodie Williams went off very quickly trying to track Allyson Felix, and Miller-Ubo just used her to pull through.
She paced herself brilliantly, you see in her face she's feeling strong and a little glance to see if anyone was challenging her. Beautiful run.

Andrew Cotter
Athletics commentator on BBC TV
The questions asked about Shaunae Miller-Uibo are questions no more. Even with 30m before you might still have had doubts because of what's happened in the past - but there was none of that.

That's back-to-back Olympic titles for the 27-year-old after her victory in Rio five years ago.

Deadlock = broken!
In comes the cross from Kosovare Asllani and Stina Blackstenius hits it first time. It takes a deflection, but she won't care.

She is about to run in the women's 400m and is eyeing a 10th Olympic medal.
Shaunae Miller-Uibo won this race with a Superman-style dive over the line in Rio and starts as favourite, but Great Britain's Jodie Williams will fancy her chances of bagging a medal after dipping below 50 seconds for the first time in the semi-finals.
Sweden 0-0 Canada
We're 30 minutes into the women's football gold medal match and still waiting for the first goal in Yokohama.

BBC One
GB's gold medallist Hannah Mills on becoming the most-decorated female sailor in Olympic history: "It's completely mad. It's not something I ever dreamed of achieving so I'm absolutely overwhelmed by the whole thing.
"It was heart-breaking when our win went to appeal, because that was our moment of winning. I knew there was no reason for the protest, I knew it was going to be fine, it was just unbelievably stressful and to see Eilidh go through that at her first Olympics - she's been dreaming of winning a gold medal her whole life. It was heart-breaking but it added to the drama I guess!"
On the 470 becoming a mixed-gender event: "The 470 is going mixed, which I am so behind. The IOC is clearly pushing the mixed agenda in a lot of sports and I think it's a really positive message to show the world - men and women competing together on an equal level. I'm really excited that the 470's taking that step."
Team GB
Frazer Clarke on room-mate Galal Yafai, who will fight for a gold medal in the men's flyweight division on Saturday: "Me and Galal have a good bond so I'll be supporting him in the only way I know how and that is by waking up and giving him stick, he will give it me back and that's out relationship.
"On a serious note he's very calm and collected, he knows it's an Olympic final, he knows it's big but I said to him 'if you go out there and do what you do best Galal you'll be going home with a gold medal'.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world, I'll be there and cheering him on. Excuse my language if you do watch because I'll be there screaming and shouting and maybe crying at the end when he wins the gold medal."
Women's pole vault
BBC One
Holly Bradshaw, who won pole vault bronze yesterday, speaking on BBC One: "That's the first time I've watched it back and I got goosebumps, I was that chilled by it. Wow, to watch that back is amazing."
On winning the first Olympic pole vault medal in British history: "I didn't realise that until I got back and saw on Twitter that someone had posted that! I was shocked, it's just fantastic. It's something I've worked for my whole life and something I've dreamed of my whole career. I've come so close so many times, to finally secure the medal - it's just incredible. I'm so happy.
"It's been such a rocky journey for me with injuries and coming so close, I've pretty much put my family through so much, coming back crying, injury after injury, my husband's probably sick of a grumpy Holly.
"This medal's as much theirs as it is mine, they've been there every step of the way. Pole vault is such a crazy event with so many variables, things can go wrong so easily, which is why you can come so close, so many times. To finally secure it means so much to me and everyone in my team."
We have the women's 400m final coming up shortly, but first a look back at some British success...
