Women's omnium
Laura Kenny takes sprint five to pick up five more points and edge closer to the medal places - she's 17 off at the moment.
Overall leader Jennifer Valente is involved in a crash and goes down! She back on her bike but that makes things interesting for the remainder of this race.
Women's omnium
Kirsten Wild makes a move to get into the medal places and she takes five points on sprint four. That will have alerted Jennifer Valente, who will have to react.

When I first met Jason Kenny, I thought 'I have never seen someone walk so slowly', he walks slowly, he eats slowly, he does everything so slowly to conserve energy and then when he gets on a bike it is like this switch goes on in his head and becomes a different machine entirely.
From an early age he clearly had something special.
Women's omnium
The points race is under way - 80 laps and sprints every 10 laps.

In the points race Laura Kenny needs to get on the offensive early on and score points immediately. She has to be very aggressive and try and initiate moves.
The problem is Jennifer Valente will be stuck on her back wheel like a shadow and all she has to do is follow, she doesn't have to win anything. She just has to stick with her and minimise the points losses.
Women's omnium
What a night of cycling and we've got one more event coming up - the women's omnium points race.
We saw one Kenny produce something spectacular, could we see Laura Kenny do likewise now?

Jason Kenny fully deserves all the plaudits, all the recognition, everything. He is the most incredible competitor that I have ever had the pleasure of competing against and being a teammate with.
Jason Kenny steps up to collect yet another gold medal.
I got so whipped up in witnessing something incredible that I forgot to mention who the silver and bronze went to.
Azizulhasni Awang of Malaysia was second while Harrie Lavreysen was third and the pair lift up Kenny after receiving their medals. Great camaraderie.

I have never seen someone warming up for an Olympic final, being on the back foot, with the biggest smile.
Laura Kenny watched what just happened there with her partner Jason with a big smile on her face. Jack Carlin was whooping and cheering and looking on with similar disbelief to all of us sat on our sofas. What a moment.

This is a race we will be talking about not only for years to come, but for decades to come. A race where the winner just blew the field away.
The table could yet change if Laura Kenny pulls off something incredible in the final race of the women's omnium.
