What an amazing match that was!

What resilience and composure from Team GB to recover.

It's a big pitch to cover with seven players but down to six your defence structure is all over the place.

The GB team are nimble and fast and they had their eyes on this one.

That was something very special, forced it and put themselves in a semi-final - fair play to them!

I really thought GB were dead and buried at 21-0 down. The Americans were all over Great Britain in the first half. But that try just before half-time gave them a pulse. That was the message at half time and then it was one way traffic, resolute defence at the end and a five point victory to take them to the semi-finals.

Fresh from his victory at the Open, Collin Morikawa says representing the United States at the Olympics is the "biggest honour".

"I haven’t played the Olympics yet, but as I look forward to competing in a couple days, it will be up there," Morikawa told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"It happens every four years and it’s one of the hardest competitions to qualify for. You are representing your country, which is the biggest honour. With everything going on in the world, it won’t take away from the experience.

"We are surrounded by the best athletes around the world. It’s cool to see and it’s motivational as it pushes us to want to compete and win a a medal for our country.

"I had a few days to celebrate [winning the Open] so it wasn’t the longest prep. The course is in pristine condition and the last two holes will be very tough. You have to hit the fairway on the 18th and it will be an exciting finish."
