    Every minute really did matter.

The 2015 domestic season comes to a close and it's Leeds Rhinos who emerge as Super League champions after a tense and thrilling Grand Final win over Wigan Warriors.

Brian McDermott's side follow Bradford Bulls (2003) and St Helens (2006) as the only teams to do the treble in the Super League era.

Victory at Old Trafford proved to be a fitting finale for their three legends - Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai - who are all heading off for pastures new.

As well as being a treble winner and a seven-time Grand Final winner, Leeds Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire is now the proud holder of the Harry Sunderland Trophy.

McGuire scored two first-half tries to set the Rhinos up for an Old Trafford victory that confirmed them as the third side to do the treble in the Super League era.

If we'd have played next week I don't know if I could have put a team out. I can't get across how proud I am, I don't think I can put into words the feeling I've got at the moment. It's just incredible.

We just gave ourselves a little bit too much to do in that second half. Matty Bowen's leaving us this year and he's been an absolute credit to himself and his family. He's been an absolutely class player, but that's sport, it just wasn't to be this time.

Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield lifts the Super League trophy, confirming the Rhinos as 2015 champions.

It's his last act in a Leeds shirt before switching codes to rugby union, and it's not a bad way to bow out.

What a night. JP said it all - we're playing in a great team. The fans have been unbelievable. The team were rocking a bit but this team has shown character in tough situations and thankfully we just had enough.

I'm lost for words. They're a special group to play with. I feel privileged to bow out in this game with a win, with a special group and a special club. I love the game and it's given me so many amazing moments. To think my final game would be the best moment - what can you say?

Probably for most of the second half, Wigan were the better team, but a special bunch of guys managed to conjure something. This a real-life fairytale, some guys have been immense for this club throughout their careers and what a fitting way to send them off.

I'm shattered. It was a tough game and Wigan put us under pressure, but we showed the desire to hang in there. It's great for JP, Kylie and Kev - three of my best mates. They deserve to go out like this.

This group of young men find a way of achieving, even if it's not the normal way. They've found hard ways to do it, but they've just got something about them.

It's the perfect end for Leeds' veterans - Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai are hugging each other on the field.

But it was 20-year-old Josh Walters who scored the decisive try - a try that secured a domestic treble for Leeds Rhinos.

Sensible play by Rob Burrow, who kicks the ball dead. Leeds are 36 seconds and one successful defensive set away from winning the treble.
