Leeds are renowned for their offloads and the way they play the game, but I wouldn't expect to see any offload in this set of six.

  2. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 79 mins

One minute to go. Leeds have two tackles left of their set inside the Wigan half.

  3. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 78 mins

Super League's tag line this season was: "Every Minute Matters".

Two minutes of the season to go. We still don't know who will be champions.

  4. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 77 mins

No heroics by Leeds in that set of six. One pass out, drive in, take the tackle, play the ball, repeat. The further they can keep it from their own line, the better for the Rhinos.

    Three minutes left.

  5. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 76 mins

Wigan's Tony Clubb is unfortunate - he tries to offload but the ball slips forward from his grasp on halfway. Leeds have the scrum.

    Four minutes to go.

  6. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 75 mins

Leeds use up their full set of six but must turn over possession two metres from the Wigan line as Rob Burrow is grounded.

    Five minutes left.

  7. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 74 mins

In front of a capacity crowd of 73,512 - a new Grand Final record - Leeds go on the attack again as Michael McIlorum is penalised for a high tackle on Rob Burrow.

    Six minutes remaining.

  8. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 73 mins

An excellent Wigan break puts the Warriors in Leeds territory but the move comes to an abrupt halt as they're pulled up for a forward pass.

Seven minutes left. Chances are running out.

  9. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 72 mins

Joel Tomkins is caught offside so Leeds get a scrum 10 metres out. It was imperative that Wigan survived that set of six, and they did.

  10. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 70 mins

The television cameras focus in on the two coaches - Wigan's Shaun Wane and Brian McDermott of Leeds. A penny for their thoughts now.

Wigan concede a penalty inside the Leeds half as Dom Manfredi crashes into Ryan Hall.

Josh Walters does enough to help put Leeds back in front, but he can do no more than limp back to his own half before conceding his night is probably over and comes off clutching his left hamstring.

There was, however, a streaker with plenty of energy who is eventually dealt with following a nicely-timed tackle by a steward.

  12. Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriorspublished at 68 mins

Forgive me for making an obvious point, but the next try is absolutely vital in this Grand Final.

It looked for all the money that Manfredi was going to take that kick, but Ryan Hall just out-leaped him and knocked the ball back inside. And what a moment for young Josh Walters there.

    Leeds Rhinos 22-20 Wigan Warriors

Among all of those legends in the Leeds line-up, it's Josh Walters, at just 20 years of age, who has got the Rhinos back on track for the treble.

Leeds claim a high kick and Walters barges over from close range.

Kevin Sinfield's goal puts Leeds two points ahead. This is anyone's game.

  15. PENALTY (Bowen)published at 62 mins

    Leeds Rhinos 16-20 Wigan Warriors

Matty Bowen kicks a penalty to put Wigan four points clear.

Some smart play from Michael McIlorum earned it, throwing a pass to his right knowing that Kallum Watkins crouching down a yard away from him in an offside position.

With a step, burst and a dart it seems that Wigan's Matty Bowen changed the whole complexion of this game and the atmosphere at Old Trafford.

Even as play slows for a moment, it is the Warriors players who looked pumped, ready to burst forward, while there is a stretch or two among the Leeds players. A long, intense season of glory has to catch up with you at some stage, right?

  18. Leeds Rhinos 16-18 Wigan Warriorspublished at 59 mins

Wigan have dominated the first part of the second half, scoring 12 points without reply, and Leeds look a little shell-shocked. Wigan appear that little bit fresher.

Only 20 minutes or so left for the Rhinos to rescue their dream of the treble.

  19. Leeds Rhinos 16-18 Wigan Warriorspublished at 57 mins

Much has been made of the legends that are departing Leeds after this Grand Final - it's worth noting that two players leaving Wigan at the end of the season have gone over for tries.

Sydney-bound Joe Burgess opened the scoring in the early minutes, and Matty Bowen's individual effort has given the Warriors their current two-point advantage.
