France coach Philippe Saint-Andre: "I think we have improved because we have three wins already. We are just focused tonight to win our last game and I know in the pubs in England everyone is behind us. We want to play a good game and finish this Six Nations with a victory.

"Brian O'Driscoll is a fantastic servant of world rugby. He has flair, sprit and is all the time positive. He has scored some brilliant tries. He creates space for people around him and is a fantastic player. I hope today will not be a fantastic day for him though."

"It will be interesting to see 19-year-old Gael Fickou get a start at centre too," said Jeremy Guscott ahead of this match.

"This a young kid we want to see more of. He has the size, physicality and athleticism to really shine. I am really looking forward to watching him and I hope he gets a decent run in the side because France have not been using their three-quarters in any way that is inclusive. They have just been asked to kick and chase and follow the forwards, apart from the odd attack from their own half."

As one career ends in Paris, another will begin as France's teenage centre Gael Fickou makes his first Six Nations start. The 19-year-old has said he is "very proud" to be playing against Brian O'Driscoll.

"We'll see if the age difference works in my favour or his," said the man who scored the winning try against England as a replacement at the start of this tournament.

"He is such a symbol, he is a leader on the field. He has skills, he is a great defender, he has it all and can do anything. I don't think I should copy anyone in my learning process, but someone like O'Driscoll is undoubtedly a source of inspiration."

"March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb and in Paris that transformation seems almost complete. A warm, sunny day in the French capital and barely a lick of wind. This being Philippe Saint-Andre's France, however, you half expect them to turn the proverb on its head against Ireland, going out roaring having spent the first four games wobbling like new-borns."

Former Wales winger on BBC One

"It's never easy playing against a Welsh side that wants to play expansive rugby but when you're a full-back down it's always going to be difficult. What Wales did today was play to the Plan A we keep hearing about. It's simple - get over the gainline and play an expansive, wide game."

Wales winger George North speaking to BBC One: "It has been a tough few weeks for us. We went to Twickenham and didn't get the result we wanted against England. We trained really hard after that and I think it showed. I am happy with two tries but all the boys played exceptionally well.

"It doesn't make up for the England defeat, but the performance was good and we finish the campaign on a high note."

"It's a great win and you can only beat what's in front of you but Scotland fell apart early on. What today has shown is that when they put width on the ball Wales have so many dangerous backs and are a real threat."

"Great play. The ball came out wide. James Hook had no room at all to move and you don't see that kind of kicking enough. Rhodri Williams does well there, he picks that ball up and the momentum, as he is falling, takes him over the line. What a way to make your Six Nations debut."

First try for his country for Rhodri Williams who controls the ball well before throwing himself over the line after James Hook's kick forward from the left touchline, after a good pass from Rhys Priestland initially. A move made and finished from the replacements bench.

"Once you score early in the second half, as a player you feel you can move on and hit the nails into the coffin of this Scottish side. That hasn't happened and that is credit to Scotland I suppose, although Wales may have taken their foot off the pedal a bit."
