"Fantastic rolling maul from France. Back to the good old days with those enormous wardrobes in the front row. It was set up by a great kick into the corner."

"Fantastic rolling maul from France. Back to the good old days with those enormous wardrobes in the front row. It was set up by a great kick into the corner."
England 19-14 France
All the steam has gone out of this match since the restart, but here's France with a line-out on the England line. And France go over, peeling away and securing the try through Montpellier flanker Ouedraogo. France making the most of the extra man, with Clarke in the bin... Kockott, on for Parra, misses the conversion.
Attwood on for Parling in the second row, Care is now England's number nine. Dulin under a high ball from Care and he returns with interest. Wood and Vunipola bring down the marauding Atonio, which must be like trying to bring down a runaway cement mixer. Luke Cowan-Dickie is England's hooker, prop Brookes has gone off with that iffy arm of his...

Brookes looks like he's got a stinger after bouncing off a tackle, but he's up again and back in the mix. France assail the England line and think they've got it over through Atonio, but Parling it was with the tackle and the French prop knocked it on attempting to reach for the line.

"Calum Clark knows one of his problems is discipline. The coaching staff will have a meeting with him and say 'you can't afford to do that'. You cannot hold a player's neck like a reverse choke - it is very, very dangerous."
As is often the case when replacements are funnelled into the fray, the game has broken up a little. Calum Clark has been binned for a dangerous tackle at a ruck, judo rolling an opposition player. That's not good, he's waited so long for his England debut...
A completely new French front row now for France. Wood knocks on under no pressure, before going down on on knee and making as if he has something in his eye. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't... actually, I think he took a knock...
There are worse people to get an endorsement from...
Replays show Picamoles drove his head into Slade while the Exeter centre was on the deck. Interesting. Mas off for Atonio in the French front row - the La Rochelle prop is the heaviest man in international rugby, or so I'm told, at 6ft 5in and 24 stone. He went to the same school as Jonah Lomu, who knows what's in the lunch boxes at Wesley College...

"Henry Slade looks like a young Brian O'Driscoll. It's all coming from Henry Slade - he's talking to everyone. He fits really well."
Penalty for England and Farrell kicks to the corner. Talking of Cipirani, here he is, coming on for Goode at full-back. Lovely offload from Farrell under intense pressure and here's some handbags, no idea what that was all about. Burgess back in the mix after his stint in the bin.

"If Henry Slade is not in the World Cup squad I will call Stuart Lancaster and say 'what are you doing man?'"
With Goode playing effectively as a third 10 at the moment, Danny Cipirani is looking like a dead man with regards making England's World Cup squad. It will be interesting to see if the Sale man gets a run at fly-half tonight.

"Just look at Alex Goode. Pure class. His ability to dance and still see what is going... There are players that have to impress and step up and Alex Goode has definitely given a moment for Stuart Lancaster to think 'he's doing things that Mike Brown doesn't do'."
England 19-9 France
Wigglesworth feeds Vunipola... Slade with a fine pass, here's Goode with the cross-kick and it's May underneath it and over in the corner... Farrell kicks the extras from the touch-line...
Goode showing nice feet in a tight spot. Farrell kicks to the corner and Guitoune controls it with his feet before the ball is cleared. May running it back... Webber eventually bundled into touch...
France raiding down the left flank, bringing it out of their own 22. Debaty blasts off a couple of tacklers but it's a penalty for England. Haskell has been thrown into the fray for Morgan, who will have been blowing a gasket having not played since January.
