This drive a tad more difficult for the USA to stop, legally or illegally, Greig Laidlaw barking orders at the ruck and it's Matt Scott who gallops and side-steps at a brilliant angle and touches down.Laidlaw successful with the straightforward conversion in front of the posts.

The Scots have, however, beaten more defenders and made more clean breaks.

Scotland eager to run with the ball, they've upped the tempo and look the more likely to score. The forwards take them into the USA 22 and it's the backs who do the damage, Sean Maitland strolling over unchallenged and touching down behind the posts. Finn Russell with an easy conversion.
