  1. Italy 3-6 Englandpublished at 19 mins

Italy's Carlo Canna has a shot to nothing with a drop-goal attempt. The penalty is coming as England fail to roll away, so Canna has a go - just wide.

  2. Penalty - Fordpublished at 18 mins

    Italy 3-6 England

And with his mate off the field, George Ford gets first dibs on an England penalty. It's right in front of the posts, and he snaffles it.

  3. Italy 3-3 Englandpublished at 17 mins

Owen Farrell is heading off to get his head looked at. He took a whack but was pretty eager to stay on.

  4. Italy 3-3 Englandpublished at 15 mins

Carlo Canna gets his clearance to the corner all wrong and England come back for the line-out.

This time it's good and Ben Youngs throws a dummy and finds a gap. He runs out of options, so it's recycled until Michele Campagnaro is in bulldozer mode again to clear out George Ford.

Italy get themselves a scrum from the ensuing melee.

“Good shot from Farrell. Playing in a different position, at centre, his workload will be a lot higher as it is much more attritional. His physical state when kicking will be a factor playing centre as opposed to fly-half.”

  6. Penalty - Farrellpublished at 13 mins

    Italy 3-3 England

Owen Farrell, donning the 12 shirt, pops it over from slightly left of central - easy for a right footer.

  7. Italy 3-0 Englandpublished at 12 mins

Respite for England as they earn a scrum from a line-out deep in Italian territory. And from that, they are awarded a penalty.

“There are warning signs for England with these turnovers. Italy have a very powerful back row. If England were wondering whether Italy were going to be up for this, they have seen what Eddie Jones has said England were going to do and come out with real intent.”

  9. Penalty - Cannapublished at 9 mins

    Italy 3-0 England

It's out on the left but Carlo Canna has no problems finding the middle of the posts. England look startled.

Not great from England this. A line-out in their own half sails over everyone - there was an Italian hand on it on the way over.

And Italy are rattling down the left again until Lorenzo Cittadini fumbles. But they have a penalty.

  11. Italy 0-0 Englandpublished at 7 mins

Boy oh boy, Italy are up for this.

Michele Campagnaro hoists Jonathan Joseph up in the air and carries him about 10 feet. The England centre had failed to gather in a George Ford pass initially.

  12. Concerns around George Fordpublished at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2016

    Italy 0-0 England

    Paul Grayson
Former England fly-half on BBC Radio 5 live

“Good play from England to begin with but George Ford is not in top form at the moment – he looks like he is trying hard to find form.”

"I expect England to be at a 100% performance level – especially given everything Eddie Jones has said in the press."

  14. Italy 0-0 Englandpublished at 5 mins

The ball doesn't appear as quickly as England would have liked but when it does come out they play it nicely cross the field, with George Ford and Owen Farrell central.

That is until it's plucked away by Italy and a chip up field finds touch in a dangerous location.

England fumble from the line-out and Italy have an opening for Sergio Parisse down the left, but Jack Nowell is there to tidy up.

  15. Italy 0-0 Englandpublished at 2 mins

And an Italian knock-on straight from a well-placed kick gives England a scrum on the edge of the Italian 22.

  18. 'Don't get involved in an arm-wrestle'published at 13:58

    Italy v England (14:00 GMT)

Some final words of inspiration from Eddie Jones speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "We haven’t underestimated Italy. What I have said is that we need to express ourselves and show our ability. Don’t get involved in an arm-wrestle – an arm-wrestle is like a coin toss and it can be 50-50. We have seen that already in the Six Nations"
