    Dan Lydiate, con Leigh Halfpenny

Well, Wales are down a man but they create the position in front of the sticks and from the ruck it's worked right to Gareth Anscombe, who sends a lovely ball into Dan Lydiate and he powers over from close range.

You have to say it is cynical and a yellow card. The officials have done very well.

    Great patience from England.

They just went through the phases, Ben Youngs calling the shots.

    England were ruthless.

Converted try - England 7-0 Fijipublished at 4 mins

    Jonathan Joseph, con Owen Farrell

Well that didn't take long. England go right through Semesa Rokoduguni and when he is held up, go back down the middle. Mako Vunipola beats up the Fijians, prop partner Dan Cole clears out a ruck. That allows England to line up shirts on the left flank, Jonathan Joseph the lucky one allowed to finish it off.

Oweb Farrell clips over the extras. Perfect start.

  11. Penalty - Wales 0-3 Japanpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Yu Tamura, 4mins

Japan have started brightly here, some neat passing from an attacking line-out on the right is moved left to Akihito Yamada on the far side around 15 metres from the Wales line.

Wales clear, but then concede the penalty to give Japan a chance to stick the first points on the board.

No problem for Yu Tamura... he finds the target.

Electronic dance music, or EDM as the kids call it, greets the four sets of players as they strut out the tunnels in London and Cardiff. The DJ quickly presses the eject button, though. It is time for something a little more serene. Anthem time.

  19. A calculated gamblepublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    Wales v Japan (14:30 GMT)

    Richard Williams
BBC Sport Wales at the Principality Stadium

Matches against tier-two nations are routinely described as potential banana skins and in Wales’ case in the autumn that has frequently been true.

Samoa and Canada have previously won in Cardiff at this time of the year, Fiji have drawn and on one occasion were pipped by a point.

So it might be a surprise for interim head coach Rob Howley to make 10 changes for the visit of Japan.

But this is not an inexperienced Wales side. There are four players with fewer than 10 international appearances but six with more than 50.

As gambles go, this one is calculated.
