The game is opening up with England keen to pile on the points and Scotland trying to at least add some modesty to the scoreline.

As a contest though, it was done a long time ago.

No wonder Jonathan Joseph is grinning away on the England bench after being brought off.

The England centre has made more metres (126), beaten more defenders (five), more clean breaks (four) and more offloads (two) than anyone else on the pitch.

And, of course, scored more tries...

    From the touchline...

England's players know they've got the game won.

There are a few smiles as they come off.

And there's a general sense of satisfaction as they've done the job they set out to do.

Dan Cole and Ben Youngs have departed to be replaced by Kyle Sinckler and Danny Care. Leicester off and Harlequins on.

Scotland are massively frustrated, England have dominated this game from the first minute. To score 40 points is an absolute smashing and they are still going for the jugular.

It is desperate play from Scotland.

    England 47-14 Scotland

Scotland secured the turnover from the previous line-out, but John Barclay's celebrations in the face of James Haskell and Maro Itoje were a little too vociferous.

    Penalty reversed.

And Billy Vunipola is shoved over at the back of a motoring maul and Farrell converts.

This is England's highest ever points total against Scotland, beating the previous mark of 43 in 2001 and 2005.

England have focused in on him and attacked him well, but nice to see him get a try.
