    Wales 16-29 Australia

Eight minutes to play in Cardiff, just over five minutes remaining on the sin-bin.

Wales get a penalty as Australia collapse the scrum, but the Wallabies won't mind, these scrums are eating up the clock.

Hallam Amos collects the ball on the free-play but is ushered into touch as we go back to the scrum.

    Wales 16-29 Australia

Cory Hill takes the catch from Ken Owens and Wales are looking to drive.

Australia defend well as Gareth Davies pops up and tries to go on his own.

Jonathan Davies tries a cross-field kick, which is terribly executed, but thankfully Wales come back for the penalty.

    They'll take the scrum...

    Ireland 14-3 South Africa

South African hands slow up Ireland's recycling.

Conor Murray rants to the referee like a man who has lost his coin in a vending machine.

The official's penalty arm duly flies up and this should be three from Johnny Sexton from 30m out and dead centre.

Boos ring out the stadium, not for the home side, but Michael Hooper is on the big screen.

He's sitting on the naughty chair, guarded by a rather scary-looking official.

Wales have a scrum near the line and they have to make this count.

The ball goes loose, penalty to Wales, they'll opt for the corner.

    Ireland 14-3 South Africa

South Africa are bubbling up well in this second half.

Plenty of ball and they are doing more with it, more cohesion and less errors.

But Rhys Ruddock, fresh off the bench, secures the turnover as he pins Jesse Kriel after Bundee Aki's old-school low tackle.

    Wales 16-29 Australia

Australia captain Michael Hooper is off for infringing at the breakdown.

The Wallabies were warned about five minutes prior, and Wales have 10 minutes with an extra man.

A huge test as they bring on their bench.

Nicky Smith into the front row, with Cory Hill and Owen Watkin also on.

Jacob Stockdale with a fine piece of breakdown thievery, pouncing on the ball as it pops out the side of a ruck.

Sean O'Brien is straight over the top to help his wing out and that is a good turnover to help stem the Springbok tide.

  13. Missed penalty - Wales 16-29 Australiapublished at 18:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Reece Hodge (67 mins)

The crowd breathe a collective sigh of relief.

    Tony Ward

It's been a slow start to the second half for Ireland. It looks like they've lost the first half momentum while they've been in the dressing room at half-time and the Springboks are on top.

Cardiff has fallen silent, it's really quite eery in the stadium. The crowd don't know what to make of that Kurtley Beale try.

Their side have 15 minutes to claw this back. Jonathan Davies is leading the charge but he's penalised for a deliberate knock-on.

The tee is handed to Reece Hodge once again, this could clinch it for the Aussies.

    Ireland 14-3 South Africa

Pieter-Steph du Toit gets his octopus arms over the top of an Irish driving maul to disrupt and steal the ball.

Nice work from the South African second row who is out on the flank today.

  17. Replacementpublished at 18:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Wales 16-29 Australia

Hallam Amos is the first man off the bench as wing Steff Evans trots off. He's had a decent first run-out at home, bar losing that ball to Kurtley Beale.

But you can't argue with magic.

  18. try

Converted try - Wales 16-29 Australiapublished at 18:43 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

Kurtley Beale, con Foley (63 mins)

    And it's given.

Kurtley Beale steals the ball in the tackle and sprints away as the Welsh stand bemused with no clue where the ball has gone.

His quick conversion is ruled out, but Bernard Foley adds the extras for a second time.

    That has hurt Wales.

I saw that straight away. It was like a rugby league steal and no-one knew where the ball was apart from those two men.

    Wales 16-22 Australia

    Chaos.

Kurtley Beale suddenly has the ball in his own half, scores the try and then kicks the drop-goal conversion.

    What on earth happened there?
