  1. try

Try - Ireland 14-0 South Africapublished at 18:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Andrew Conway

The South Africa back three - big on pace, short in stature - knew this would be a tin-hat Test.

And a Conor Murray bomb blows up in their face.

Courtnall Skosan makes a horrible hash of fielding the scrum-half's box-kick and Andrew Conway grabs the loose ball to scoot into the corner.

Johnny Sexton is just off target with the conversion.

    Ireland 9-0 South Africa

There are some big collisions out there.

Ireland win one as Iain Henderson swats aside Eben Etzebeth like the Bok bruiser is 10-stone fly-half.

And then South Africa win one with Francois Louw leveling Sean O'Brien with a limbo-low hit.

    All good clean fun.

  3. try

Try - Wales 13-22 Australiapublished at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Michael Hooper (41 mins)

Australia are in with the clock on red.

A killer blow before half time as Hooper shows far too much pace and slides over the whitewash. Bernard Foley is wide with the extras.

Wales once again fail to properly clear their lines after scoring points - Warren Gatland will be fuming.

    Wales 13-17 Australia

Wales finally take a clean restart, and earn the turnover after Steff Evans' high kick.

A quick break in play while a couple of the players think about squaring up to each other, but we're back.

Australia are looking dangerous but Josh Navidi is putting in some mammoth tackles on the try-line.

  5. Penalty - Wales 13-17 Australiapublished at 17:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Halfpenny (37 mins)

Wales strike back immediately to reduce the deficit to four points.

Leigh Halfpenny has three from three this evening.

    Routine.

  6. Penalty - Ireland 9-0 South Africapublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Johnny Sexton (20 mins)

Kick by kick, Ireland are edging away.

South Africa need to tighten up this discipline, because they are shipping too many penalties to keep afloat so far.

The only difference at moment is composure.

You don't have to score every time you get the ball, you just need to build the phases and keep the composure.

    Ireland 6-0 South Africa

A little drop-off ball to Johnny Sexton buys Ireland's backline the space it needs to get outside the Springboks.

Andrew Conway canters into open pastures down the right wing.

He is hauled down, but at the cost of a very kickable penalty for Ireland....

  9. Steff Evans scores Wales' first trypublished at 17:54 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Wales 10-17 Australia

On his third cap, Scarlets wing Steff Evans crosses for Wales' only try of the game so far.

  10. Penalty - Wales 10-17 Australiapublished at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Reece Hodge (35 mins)

And it has the legs. What a strike from wing Reece Hodge.

Australia stretch their lead to seven.

    Ireland 6-0 South Africa

Bundee Aki continues to impress in midfield on his debut.

The Connacht man snares Damian de Allende in midfield to stem some Bok momentum.

    Wales 10-14 Australia

The referee is being consistent, and another penalty goes the way of the visitors.

Fan favourite Josh Navidi takes in a brilliant catch after a loose pass but he just held on to it for too long.

Reece Hodge with the chance to knock one over from miles out here...

    Wales 10-14 Australia

Groans inside the stadium, we can't get the scrum set here in Cardiff.

Wales have the put-in in their own half, but the whistle goes and Australia get the penalty.

Tomas Francis is the prop being told off. Another mistake from Wales.

  14. Penalty - Ireland 6-0 South Africapublished at 17:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Johnny Sexton (15 mins)

A few rogue shouters in the crowd as Johnny Sexton sets his sights.

It will take more than that to put off the Ireland 10 though.

That doubles the damage on the scoreboard.

    Ireland 3-0 South Africa

South Africa cough up another penalty - this time the backline getting ahead of themselves and offside in defence.

This should be meat and drink for Johnny Sexton, 30m out and bang in front...

There's been some great defensive work from both sides and they've both tried to create things as well.

    Ireland 3-0 South Africa

    Tony Ward
Former Ireland and Lions fly-half on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

From the start, it's obvious that both sides defensively want to get involved. It's been good for Aki and Stockdale to get some early touches of the ball. Nothing really happening though in terms of structure - the game is taking place completely in the centre of the field. No clear pattern emerging just yet.

    Ireland 3-0 South Africa

The heft of the Springbok pack starts to make its mark with hooker Malcolm Marx - one of their big finds this season - rumbling well.

But then a mix-up between Siya Kolisi and Francois Louw sees the ball drift forward.

More trouble for the visitors at scrum time as the Boks are screwed round and back to concede the penalty.

That is not usually an area of concern for South Africa sides.

    Wales 10–14 Australia

    Rob Jones
Former Wales scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 live

Ultimately, you can’t afford to lose possession or give possession away.

You have to keep it set up, get the ball back and get it back down field. It’s the simple things that count.

You can’t afford to give this Australian side too many opportunities.

    Wales 10-14 Australia

Plenty of pundits praising Will Genia, and he deserves it.

Dan Biggar tries a little chip kick over the defence but Genia is there to sweep up and clear off his left foot. Magestic.
