The South Africa pack are steamrollering their way through the Wales pack.

For the third time today, the Springboks have a penalty after Wales are sent backpedalling fast at the set-piece.

Handre Pollard punts up to the Wales 22m...

Rhys Patchell has made an enterprising start, but that kick, going against the grain, is a little too clever for its own good.

Warrick Gelant reads it like a book, dropping back to claim it and then walloping the kick back upfield to take play to halfway.

    All aboard the showboat!

Rhys Patchell slings a pass behind his back and it very nearly finds Steff Evans for a stroll in.

The referee had already blown though as Patchell was offside from Hadleigh Parkes' chip ahead.

It wasn't a subtle move but it's very effective. You can't say South Africa don't deserve this.

Try - Wales 21-15 South Africapublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2017

    Handre Pollard

Six points the difference and game very much on.

South Africa have come out rabid for the second half, quicker to the breakdown, more accurate with the ball in hand.

Handre Pollard takes the ball flat and fast five metres out and crashes through Aled Davies' stretching tackle like a set of Wild West saloon bar doors.

His conversion attempt hits the upright and bounces...out.

South Africa have a penalty five metres out.

Time to go for the pushover scrum?

Nope, to the corner and an attempt to fire up the driving maul...

The forwards will not be happy to see that type of mistake made so early in the half. It was such a poor kick.

    Wales 21-10 South Africa

Wales' first scrum of the second half creaks, but Aled Davies gets the ball away before the tremors turn to full-blown quake.

Hadleigh Parkes on the crash ball. But then Davies midjudges his box-kick sending it out on the full.

Line-out back to just outside the Wales 22m and pressure on...

Amby: A disallowed try for SA that was obviously a try, but wrong question asked; and then an obviously offside 3rd try for Wales. Technology only as good as the people using it.

It's embarrassing because these guys are athletes and they are playing exactly the way Wales expected them to play.

    Wales deserve their 11-point lead.

The tale of the tape from the first half.

There is not a lot of difference in the stats, but on the field there is a country mile with Wales on the South African windpipe for pretty much the entirety of the first half.

Again a curiously polite reception after an extraordinary half of rugby.

In truth South Africa are lucky to be within 11 points at the break and what a half for Hadleigh Parkes on debut.

Chaotic rugby from the Springboks, opportunism by Wales, four tries.

    More of the same please.

I just think Wales have been completely dominant. Dan Biggar has been superb and he's complemented their play.
