  1. 'If that's at Murrayfield that's a try'published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Ireland 21-8 Scotland

    Denis Hickie
Former Ireland winger on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

That should have been a try - if that's at Murrayfield that's a try. It's the third inexplicable error from Scotland, and it's another really badly missed opportunity for Scotland.

  2. Ireland 21-8 Scotlandpublished at 55 mins

    Oh Scotland.

This is getting repetitive. Peter Horne the culprit this time as yet another pass fails to find Blair Kinghorn, and we all know what he can do with the ball.

  3. 'Scotland are right back in it'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Ireland 21-8 Scotland

    Rory Lawson
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Exactly what was needed for Scotland - and what a finish from Blair Kinghorn. He's a big man, he's got both feet in the air, but he's managed to touch it down. Scotland are right back in this one.

  4. try

Try - Ireland 21-8 Scotlandpublished at 51 mins

    Blair Kinghorn

Scotland are back in this. Blair Kinghorn leaps like a salmon to touch down in the corner on his first start. That was a rugby league finish right there.

A very difficult kick for Greig Laidlaw, but he can't make it a seven-point score.

  5. Replacement - Irelandpublished at 51 mins

    Ireland 21-3 Scotland

Ireland are the first to go to their bench. Cian Healy has put in a huge shift, and on comes Jack McGrath to replace him.

  6. Ireland 21-3 Scotlandpublished at 50 mins

    Another opportunity blown.

This time the wild pass is from Stuart Hogg and Blair Kinghorn is the exasperated Scottish player left without the ball as it sails into the crowd.

We're coming back for the penalty though, and Scotland will have a go from the scrum.

  7. Ireland 21-3 Scotlandpublished at 49 mins

Ireland have the bit between their teeth here. Rob Kearney is the latest green shirt to break through a tackle and make headway as the sun rears its head in Dublin and lights up the players. Is that a sign?

I'm getting ahead of myself. John Barclay pops up with a turnover and a good kick from Stuart Hogg sends his team downfield.

  8. 'Sucker punch for Scotland'published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Ireland 21-3 Scotland

    Rory Lawson
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

It's a real sucker punch for Scotland - just after half-time. Conor Murray took it into contact, and looked to be being held up, but a push from Bundee Aki's 16 stone took him over the line.

  9. Ireland 21-3 Scotlandpublished at 48 mins

So Ireland are one try away from the bonus point, and closing in on the Six Nations title.

A fourth score would mean England HAVE to get a bonus-point win in Paris to keep the competition alive.

    This is hotting up...

  10. converted try

Converted try - Ireland 21-3 Scotlandpublished at 46 mins

    Conor Murray, con Johnny Sexton

Another good snipe from scrum-half Conor Murray and he's bundled over the line.

Sexton with the conversion, Ireland with a hefty lead, and the pressure is now firmly on England.

  11. Ireland 14-3 Scotlandpublished at 45 mins

And there's another one for the men in green. That's six penalties conceded by Scotland this afternoon, and all at the breakdown.

What a difference two weeks makes.

Meanwhile, Ireland have collected the line-out safely and are putting on a shove from five-metres out...

  12. 'Ireland getting the rub of the green'published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Ireland 14-3 Scotland

    Rory Lawson
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Ireland seem to be getting the rub of the green with most decisions today, and it seems to happen a lot in international rugby - the away team just doesn't get the rub of the green. It can really sap your energy and enthusiasm as an away player.

  14. Ireland 14-3 Scotlandpublished at 41 mins

Blair Kinghorn has quite a step on him. At 6ft 4in and 15 stone he's a big unit but the Scotland winger takes out Garry Ringrose and makes a lot of ground down the right wing.

But he runs into the might of Peter O'Mahony, who gets in there to secure the turnover.

    A true heavyweight clash.

  15. 'Scotland need a significant score'published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    Ireland 14-3 Scotland

    Rory Lawson
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Gregor Townsend will have been telling his team to just keep going, because they've been playing pretty well, but they do need a significant score to stay in this fight.

  16. Kick-offpublished at 41 mins

    Ireland 14-3 Scotland

Johnny Sexton gets the second half under way.

Ireland 40 minutes from making it four from four, and keeping their Grand Slam hopes alive.

  20. 'Test of England's character'published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2018

    France v England (16.45 GMT)

    Denis Hickie
Former Ireland winger on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

It's a real test of character for England now, having to go away to France and get a result. Some of the players look tired compared to how they were in last year's Six Nations, and I think that's because they were heavily involved with the Lions.

France have one big game in them this tournament, and I think it could come today against England.
