France have an opportunity to respond straight away. Huge cheers from the stands as France win a penalty at a scrum, around 30 yards from goal.
Jessy Tremouliere should gobble this up.
Amy Cokayne
A perfect rolling maul from the line-out and England are back in front. There are screams of delight as Amy Cokayne plunges to the turf with the ball in hand. England know that is a big moment early in this second half.
Katy Daley McLean converts. England move four clear.
And the anger builds again. France's Camille Boudaud is off her feet at a ruck and England are pleading for a penalty.
And they get it! The crowd boo.
England keep for touch, yards from the touchline.
There's definitely no love lost between these two sides. A couple of naughty words are shouted in an English accent and the TV commentators have to quickly apologise.
The ball is up 22-yards away from the French touchline and England have a put in at the scrum. What can they muster?
Good ball at the line out from England. Can they make it count?
Pass. Pass. Into the hands of Katy Daley-McLean.
Now the fly-half goes for the grubber kick from inside the 22 but none of the backs can race through to collect. The right option? I'm not sure.
A frustrating start for England. A fumble in midfield and an attack is halted in its tracks. A couple of huge hits and England are struggling to get past halfway.
Boos from the crowd. Relief for England. The French are deemed to have illegally taken the ball away from the ruck.
France 10-7 England
Anyway. England know what they must do. They're going to have to come from behind to win.
Away we go in the second half.

England made a really good start in this match but they lost all momentum in the second 20 minutes.
They really will rue that mistake at the line-out just before half-time which cost them a try.
France women 10-7 England women
Just one thing to point out that I have forgotten to mention before now.
Tamara Taylor has become England's second-most capped player of all-time tonight by earning her 115th cap.
That takes her ahead of Jason Leonard with just team-mate Rochelle Clark ahead of her.

And that is the last act of the first half. England have it all to do to keep their unbeaten run, and quite possibly their Six Nations hopes, alive.
Caroline Drouin
Right on half-time France snatch a try to move in front. It all comes from England's mistake at the line-out and they can never quite get back in defence. The ball is worked through the phases and eventually fly-half Caroline Drouin powers over.
Jessy Tremouliere misses the conversation but France are ahead.
We're near the Alps and I wouldn't be surprised if the ball has a dusting of snow on it as Katy Delay-McLean boots one high into the night sky. It doesn't work though. After claiming the initial catch, England lose possession and France boot for touch.
And the home side have stolen the ball at the line-out! Big danger on the brink of half-time. France are inside the 22.
No time out is called with blood pouring from the nose of France's Caroline Thomas. Lise Arricastre is on in her place.
"Discipline has to improve," says referee Joy Neville to England's skipper Sarah Hunter as Poppy Cleall is called for offside.
It's definitely a worry for England. Just a few too many times they are being pinged by the referee's whistle.
Good news for England. Their try scorer Abigail Dow is fit to continue and is back on on the wing. The French have been really energised by that try. England are going to have a tough five minutes to deal with before the break here.
This game is really living up to it's billing so far. These two unbeaten teams are going at each other and there's a little bit of bite too.
Jessy Tremouliere
England keep France out once with one great last-ditch tackle but can't repeat the trick. France have too many numbers out on the left flank and the delayed pass is perfect allowing Jessy Tremouliere to charge over in the corner.
Can she add another two points to her own try from a very difficult position?
... It's close
No! Back off the upright. So unlucky for Tremouliere. France are limited to five.
Like their male counterparts a few hours ago, the French are really aggressive at the breakdown. They win another turnover and are now back on the attack and the volume level lifts again.
Rachael Burford's trip to the bin is over but England have plenty to deal with here.
Hmmm. That's not too good. France work the ball clear and win a penalty. You'd think a simple boot for touch should come next but for the second time so far France fail to clear the white line with the kick. This time Carlone Boujard is at fault.
The ball is back with England and Sarah Hunter is flying off the back of the scrum, making a few yards in the process.
Almost. Ellie Kildunne puts a great kick in behind the French full-back Tremouliere and is up putting on the pressure in a flash.
Tremouliere skips one tackle and goes for the big boot clear but England get a hand on the clearance and force a line-out. We're still deep in French territory.
Ouch. Wasps winger Abbie Dow has taken a horrible knock as her forehead smashes into a French opponent's in a tackle.
England lose their try scorer from this game for now at least. She has looked very dangerous so far. Charlotte Pearce is on in Dow's place.
