    Australia 9-12 Ireland

Having shown their frustration at the decision to sin-bin Israel Folau in the first half, this Sydney crowd are now cranking up the volume once more and urging the Wallabies forward.

But it's Ireland flooding forward, a deep kick from Johnny Sexton bobbling and bouncing into the path of Keith Earls as the winger darts towards the line.

He can't gather... but chance for an early penalty?

    Johnny Sexton (40 mins)

Woah. Penalty party at the minute.

    Bernard Foley (39 mins)

Australia kick for the corner. They may be a man down, but are looking for a big score before the break in this decisive Test.

The gold and greens gather from the knock down, but Bundee Aki delivers a thunderous hit to keep the hosts at bay.

Ireland are penalised again, Conor Murray the offender. And this time Australia will go for the sticks.

Bernard Foley pops it over. Level pegging again.

    Johnny Sexton (34 mins)

Conor Murray just burrowing his way through a tunnel of bodies like a starving mole in hunt of dinner, but he'll go hungry... the TMO says he came up short.

There was an Aussie offside in there somewhere. So Johnny Sexton opts to stick another over the posts and give Ireland the lead.

    Australia 6-6 Ireland

Boos ring out around the Allianz Stadium.

The Sydney crowd is boiling over after that yellow card for Israel Folau.

Can Ireland make their one-man advantage count? Jacob Stockdale, just back on the field, looks to scurry down the left channel but is hauled down short.

CJ Stander pops out to Jack McGrath, he's stopped. Now Conor Murray goes for the pads at the bottom of the posts.

We'll have a TMO to see if he's found it.

  15. Folau sin-binnedpublished at 30 mins

    Australia 6-6 Ireland

Ireland back up to 15 as Jacob Stockdale's time-out comes to an end.

Peter O'Mahony looks in a bit of trouble, mind. He falls awkwardly after climbing for a high ball with Israel Folau. The medical team are on, the skipper's heading off on the cart.

And now it will be Folau heading for the bin. After a quick look at the TMO, he's adjudged to have tugged O'Mahony down in the air.

    He's not happy about it...

Ireland can build more pressure here from the line-out.

It's a chance to convert from right in front of the sticks, though.

    Sexton makes no mistake.

Ireland, with 14 men, could have the chance to hit back immediately here.

Australia give away another needless penalty as Sekope Kepu is pulled up for not rolling away, and the visitors turn to the powerful boot of Conor Murray from long range...

It's high, looping left, too far left!

Murray drags it wide of the sticks. Australia maintrain their lead.
