    HT: England 15-10 New Zealand

England's second try came after a sublime kick from Elliot Daly set up a lineout for Dylan Hartley in the 22.

Itoje was found at the middle of the lineout and England's backs doubled down on an almighty drive to send Hartley over the white line.

What power, what a score, what a game.

Sam Underhill is a man to make Alexey Stakhanov look like a shirker.

The Bath flanker is joint-top of the match's tackle count with Maro Itoje, hitting 10. He has also made 11 metres, more than any other forward.

Eddie Royall: The All Blacks are good, but can they do it on a wet Saturday in Stoke, sorry, Twickenham?

Kiwi Bjorn: Can we stick to playing the Wallabies? These Poms are playing far too good.

Damian McKenzie is a little bit Jason Robinson like. He has beautiful balance and he is quite short which makes it difficult to put him down. He has been that player that has enlightened New Zealand when they looked a bit damp.

Chris Ashton has taken up where he left off, four years after his last Test start.

The 31-year-old Sale wing lurked wide to exploit New Zealand's unbalanced backline for England's first try.

He has been busy in defence as well with five tackles. He probably has 20 minutes left to run in the second half with jack Nowell primed on the bench.

That's three very welcome points for Steve Hansen's side. You cannot slip even for a minute against the All Blacks.

    Beauden Barrett

No mistake from Beauden Barrett, whose kicking has been called into question this season.

Straight through the sticks to send the teams to their oranges with only five points between them.

Who have you got from here?

England were 15-0 up, but where was the discipline? It's one break and New Zealand build momentum, which gets you so far in these conditions.

That's a psychological blow before half-time. Ryan Crotty made so much ground because England chose a defensive system that put Sam Underhill under too much pressure.

  15. try

Converted try - England 15-7 New Zealandpublished at 38 mins

    Damian McKenzie (Con Barrett)

In the end it was New Zealand's rapier rather than the bludgeon that gets them over the line.

After the forwards have bashed up just short, the ball comes out to Beauden Barrett and the fly-half slips inside to Damian McKenzie on a lovely line.

He slides in at speed under the posts. Conversion a formality and the lead down to eight.

Penalty New Zealand. This is a conundrum for Kieran Read. Kick for goal or go for the try?

Got to make this stick. Feels like a big moment in the match with three minutes to the break.

There is a big blindside for the All Blacks to work with as well...
