The eye in the sky rules that Jonathan Davies knocked the ball on as he attempted to gather the ball.

It might have been back off his hand, forward off his knee and caught a bit of mitt on the way back through.

    Anyway, scrum five blue.

Jonathan Davies slides into the in-goal to get a hand on loose ball, but it is a legitimate grounding?

It is a right old mess for the television match official to work out...

    Italy 10-19 Wales

Gareth Anscombe with a beautiful-if-he-meant-it banana kick off the outside of his boot to find touch.

Nicky Smith replaced by Wyn Jones in the front row, while Aled Davies, who has been decent, is subbed for Gareth Davies at nine.

Liam Williams attempts to poke a grubber kick through with Jonah Holmes chomping at the bit on his outside.

Unfortunately for Wales, it thuds into the shins of Michele Campagnaro.

Wales running low on time if they want to get a four-try bonus point...

    Just the one so far.

Wales' attack has been ponderous and Wales coach Warren Gatland responded by sending on squad skipper Alun Wyn Jones and Dillon Lewis after 50 minutes.

Dan Biggar was guilty of two terrible kicks in the space of a couple of minutes as Wales failed to gather any momentum.

The mediocrity was finally lifted when scrum-half Aled Davies launched a break from a scrum down the right hand side.

When the ball was switched left full-back Liam Williams set-up the try for Adams.

Biggar converted which proved to be his final action after he was replaced by Gareth Anscombe. The try has silenced the home crowd a little and given Wales breathing space.

That conversion is the last we will see from Dan Biggar today.

Gareth Anscombe is going to get the last 25 minutes at the wheel of this Wales team.

It was well worked by Wales. They created width and stretched the Italian defence with good offloading in the midfield. Josh Adams went over in the far wide channel and that will settle things for Wales.

Converted try - Italy 10-19 Walespublished at 53 mins

    Josh Adams (con Biggar)

All started by a sharp blindside snipe by scrum-half Aled Davies, which puts Italy on the back foot.

Play sweeps back left, Liam Williams shrugs off a couple of attempts to tackle him, drawing a mob of blue shirts towards him before offloading to Josh Adams for a stroll in.

Dan Biggar puts a bit too much on a kick ahead on halfway, clearing the touchline on the full.

There are shades of opening-round Gareth Anscombe in his performance. Flashes of good stuff undermined by sloppy kicking out of hand.

Oh I say. A naughty little one-handed pick-up from Wales full-back Liam Williams as he chases back with the hounds of hell on his heels.

    Sub-zero upstairs that lad.

That hole shuts in an instant though and the ball bobbles loose to Ian McKinley, on for Tommaso Allan, who boots downfield.

    Chase on...

Italy are quite happy with that one-dimensional game off the line-out where you stick it up the jumper. Wales have got to be urgent and they have to challenge in the air.

    Tommaso Allan

Tommaso Allan clips the ball over the crossbar and Italy are within three at the start of the second half.
