Jonny: Wins for Italy and France would make things very interesting going into the third weekend.

Anon: Talk of Welsh depth premature and wrong. Gatland should bring on big guns or risk not getting a 4 try BP

It is not easy picking out star performers from an indifferent half of rugby.

Wales hooker Elliot Dee has gone pretty well though.

A team-high nine carries and a turnover for the Dragons dartsman.

  5. 'Wales have huffed and puffed'published at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    HT: Italy 7-12 Wales

    Adrian Hadley
Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

We have huffed and puffed in their 22 without creating any scoring opportunities.

They are not putting many players into the ruck so it's difficult to get over the gain line because they have more bodies in the line.

    Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at Stadio Olimpico

Wales were in complete control of that first-half with four Dan Biggar penalties.

They dominated possession and territory but the Welsh attack could not find a way to break down Itay's resolute defence.

A poor kick from wing Josh Adams seemed to change the momentum as Steyn scored the first try and the hosts and home crowd seemed to believe again.

Italy now go in just five points down.

Dave: Some of Wales' kicking has been rather aimless and it's allowed Italy to come back into the game - they should just hang onto the ball!

Mike: Wales' rugby team and football team should swap. One kicks goals but can't score tries and the other tries but can't score goals

Italy broke off the line out and they have scored the first try of the game.

That will only give them confidence after the territory Wales have had. Wales have to pick up the urgency in the next five minutes.
