It looks very much like Gregor Alldritt has snatched a bonus-point try for France.

  3. We're still going...published at 84 mins

    France 20-10 Scotland

Goodness me, we're into the 83rd minute and both teams are still trying to score tries.

France can earn a four-try bonus with another score.

Scotland, a losing bonus if they cross the whitewash.

Belleau boots a penalty into the corner and France will rally their pack for one more surge.

A great kick-off from Kinghorn, it launched the attack with Horne’s running direct and then a great attacking run from Price as any scrum half should do.

  6. converted try

    Ali Price

At long last, something to cheer for the Scottish fans.

Peter Horne picks a gap between Vahaamahina and Bastareaud, both of whom look knackered, and Ali Price is trailing him on the inside to scamper home under the posts.

    Adam Hastings adds the conversion.

Another Scottish score would at least earn them a losing bonus point.

    Gregory Alldritt

That's one for the scrum enthusiasts and it wraps up a really important and highly impressive win for France.

Their pack have been dominant all day and splinter the Scottish eight with a monstrous shove towards the line.

Replacement Gregor Alldritt scoops up the ball and plunges over. Anthony Belleau, who has just come on for Romain Ntamack, misses the conversion.

    C'est fin.

France are denied - for the third time - by the TMO.

A Scottish hand was on that ball before Gael Fickou could reach over and exert downward pressure on it.

Still, France have a scrum five metres out. This game looks to be theirs with six minutes to play.

  10. Try reviewpublished at 73 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

    France might have struck again.

Scotland were under massive pressure on their own line after a probing kick.

Ritchie gets shoved back over the try-line.

A French hand looks to have grounded the ball - remember, there's no offside line when the ball is over the line.

The French defenders are hitting players off the ball at the moment, to stop the ball getting out there, and the referee needs to keep an eye on it.

  12. Scotland fall short againpublished at 71 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

This time it's Blair Kinghorn who races clean through the French defence, but it looks like he runs the wrong way, arcing right rather than left, where he had a man in support.

He gets tackled and Scotland shoot themselves in the foot by driving beyond the breakdown in the phase that follows and conceding a penalty. That will infuriate Gregor Townsend.

It's been poor but Scotland are still in the game. They've been really poor this second half, no possession, defending the whole time. Strauss and Bradbury have been non-existent. A real lack of consistency. Making all those changes is the right thing to do and just up that tempo. But you just can't see Scotland scoring at the moment.

  14. Is the Price right for Scotland?published at 70 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Scotland look much, much livelier for the introduction of those subs, particularly Ali Price, who is clearly trying to inject some tempo.

Adam Hastings scythes through the French defence but can't quite release Peter Horne.

Fraser Brown takes it on a bit further, but Nick Grigg gets stripped of the ball by Yoann Huget and France clear.

Ten minutes to play. Scotland need two tries...

Nick Grigg - what a tackle on Fickou! It just shows what you can do if you go low. Scotland are still in this game, now they have six guys coming off the bench to really raise the pace of this game.

Fantastic defence. That was so, so important that Scotland didn't concede again there. Basically every Scottish sub is ready to come on. Talk about big impact from the bench. It's a wholesale change from Gregor Townsend.

  17. Townsend calls for reinforcementspublished at 65 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Gregor Townsend has emptied his bench.

On come Alex Allan, Fraser Brown, Zander Fagerson, Gary Graham, Ali Price and Darcy Graham.

Off are Dell, McInally, Berghan, Strauss, Laidlaw and Maitland.

France have made a change too, Felix Lambey has been replaced by Paul Willemse.

  18. Huge defensive set from Scotlandpublished at 64 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

France are hammering away at the Scottish line here...but what an outstanding defensive set from the away side!

That was 14 phases of bludgeoning, off-loading and driving but Scotland held firm.

The highlight? A stunning round-the-ankles tackle from Grigg on Fickou as the outside centre tried to arc beyond his man.

Yoann Huget could have passed it on three or four occasions. Once you have done the damage you have to shift it on to someone who is in a better position.

Why did Huget not pass the ball? They could have walked it in, but great scrambled defence from Scotland.
