  1. France go for the jugularpublished at 62 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

This all getting very loose and very dicey.

Wenceslas Lauret wrestles the ball away from a Scottish breakdown.

France kick downfield, Adam Hastings and Sean Maitland just about scurry their way out of trouble.

The pressure is unrelenting from France, though, and Yoann Huget should put the game to bed when he races up the left and ignores the two men supporting him to go it alone.

He's hauled down in the 22, France win a penalty, and they kick it to the corner.

The hosts are going for the jugular...

  5. Maitland halted shortpublished at 57 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

That's as close as Scotland have come to a try.

From first phase, Maitland surges through midfield, handing off Gael Fickou.

The Frenchman recovers really well, though, and drags down Maitland a few metres short.

I wonder if Maitland would have been better served to release Tommy Seymour.

  6. Kinghorn impressespublished at 55 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Woah, this is harem-scarem stuff now as Kinghorn goes back over his own line to rescue a kick and does brilliantly to shimmy and stride his way out of trouble before releasing Sean Maitland.

Kinghorn gets back in the pocket and slams a huge clearance kick downfield.

France take the throw quickly but Thomas Ramos, after sneaking past a few defenders, flings his off-load into touch.

Scotland make another sub, Jonny Gray off and Ben Toolis on.

  8. Horne back on, Johnsonpublished at 54 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

That's Sam Johnson's last act of the game.

Pete Horne has passed his head injury assessment so replaces Johnson at inside centre, with Adam Hastings now a permanent substitute at fly-half.

  9. France holding firmpublished at 53 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Ooh, that was a big chance for Scotland, and again their decision-making lets them down.

They had a big overlap and runners flooding through channels, but can't quite take the right option.

Johnson's looping pass is almost intercepted as it's tipped on by Ritchie, and Kinghorn spills under massive pressure.

France win the penalty at the resultant scrum and the Scottish pressure is over.

The start that Scotland wanted to the second half - to score first, but also to try and get the crowd on the backs of the French players has just not happened. The crowds are fully supporting the efforts of the men in white.

  11. Seymour takes a sore onepublished at 51 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Tommy Seymour has suffered a hand injury of some sort as he raced up to scythe Huget to deck after a probing Scottish kick.

The winger is going to play on but he doesn't look particularly comfortable.

The French attack is superb at the moment, but Scotland have been able to get bodies behind the ball. Grigg has been excellent.

Breathless attack again from France, who are mixing it up brilliantly.

Penaud soars superbly to take a hanging Ntamack cross-field kick.

But Bastareaud loses the ball forward deep in Scottish territory and the visitors have some respite.

  14. Scots fans suffering in silencepublished at 48 mins

There is a lone piper in the stadium doing their utmost to rouse the Scotland supporters in the stadium.

The chants of “Allez Les Bleus” are ringing around the ground though as the home side look to put this to bed.

When you see Mathieu Bastareaud chipping and gathering to set up a try, it’s little wonder the Scots supporters are choosing to suffer in silence.

Not a bad impact from Hastings as he intercepts a French pass, then a French kick, as Scotland weather more pressure.

The errors keep coming, though. Sam Johnson throws a forward pass on the edge of his own 22 and France will come again.

  17. Hastings on for Scotspublished at 45 mins

    France 15-3 Scotland

Pete Horne is heading off for a head injury assessment so Adam Hastings will spend at least the next few minutes at fly-half.

Can the flamboyant play-maker spark something?

His team have got some defending to do first after conceding a penalty. It's a French line-out in the away 22.

It is classic French rugby. It's a quality, quality try. But from a Scottish perspective it is the worst possible start to the second half.

France are showing us again what everybody loves about them. It's an immaculate chip and gather by Mathieu Bastareaud and the pass to Yoann Huget is precise. What a score.

  20. try

Try France 15-3 Scotlandpublished at 42 mins

    Yoann Huget

What a start! What a score!

The French flair shows no signs of abating. A stunning try, 66 seconds into the second half.

Damian Penaud started it off with a blistering break up the right.

Mathieu Bastareaud - no, seriously - produced a glorious chip-and-chase, gathering his own kick in the Scottish 22.

Louis Picamoles bludgeoned on a bit further and Yoann Huget scampered home up the left. Outstanding stuff.

Thomas Ramos can't add the extras.
