    Scotland's best way back into this game is securing the set-piece. They just got two excellent line-outs and got a penalty from one of them. It goes back to basics. Control the ball, and you'll control the game.

    What's really impressive about France is the tempo from the ruck. A quick ball out to the number 9 in a couple of seconds, and there's no time for a defence to settle. It's very typical French play. When you've got that overlap, use it. Fix the inside runner, make them square on to you and then use that extra man.
